Since it's happened to several people at McD's, it might possibly be the IR on the brand of security cameras they use is causing a false positive in some way.

I believe I remember seeing a setting in there where you can adjust the sensitivity and make it more aggressive.Mine operates normally but it seems to be slower to warn than my 2020...almost to where it's well after the event is over and would be too late. On my 2020 there were a few times it went off and I agreed that yes I was maybe cutting it too close. With the 2022 it seems that I'll notice a car stopping short, brake fairly hard and then a second later the red light and beeping goes off.
This is true.I believe I remember seeing a setting in there where you can adjust the sensitivity and make it more aggressive.
Evidently no one got the dogs and cats living together reference. It must be the wine on the deck that is sharpening my mental awareness. P.S. sorry you are having this problem.I do not understand how the pre-collision warning system works. It decided to go off in the drive thru at McD’s. This is not the first time it has happened. Beeping, warning flashing on the instrument console, dogs and cats living together.
If would definitely disable it thenIt's warning you not to eat there.
lol... yep, happens to me all the time, startle's the crap outa me nearly every time too ? but it is annoying alsoI do not understand how the pre-collision warning system works. It decided to go off in the drive thru at McD’s. This is not the first time it has happened. Beeping, warning flashing on the instrument console, dogs and cats living together.
