Hey guys, so I just finished getting some ambient lighting installed in my truck and I am seeing a couple warnings on my dash. Tried driving the truck around for a couple days and they still haven't cleared. Unplugged the front battery and tried clearing with a OBDII scanner, still nothing. Everything is working including the front sensors and camera albeit I am unable to activate cruise control. Could this have to do something with the rear battery? Installer has no clue either.

Warnings on the dash: FRONT CAMERA FAULT, PRE COLLISION ASSIST NOT AVAILABLE, ADAPTIVE CRUISE NOT AVAILABLE (when trying to turn on)

Joban,

NIce lights.

Please consider posting what warnings you are getting but it occurs to me that something was made amiss around the front camera high up on the windshield. Something may have got disconnected there, bumped into misalignment, or electrical noise, and I am assuming NONE of the lights power was tapped up there or other related harnesses.

Updated the post with what I am seeing on the dash. In regards to the camera, let's see! The installer is still attempting to fix it himself along with some other touch ups today.

My advice is still the same but adding also check that connections at the IPMA are not disturbed. Also hopefully he knows not to use power from the Auxiliary battery.

This alert usually indicates that there is a connection issue between the IPMA and the ACC radar. Inside the cabin that is the black connector on the IPMA, which is in the drivers footwell to the left of the brake pedal.

How do I know if he did this? The rear lights are connected to a different rear fuse and turn on/off when the ambient lights come on (so only at night or when parking lights come on). Is this an indicator that he is using Aux power?

UPDATE: None of those things worked. Power isn't being drawn from aux power according to installer. Completely dumbfounded. Installer told me to go to dealer and refuses to pay for any diagnostic fees. Not sure how i feel.

You're going to have to get any DTCs read from the truck to progress further. Someone with FORScan, any mechanic shop with a scan tool or the dealer can read the codes and take it from there.
