Collision warning Re(Liability)- Tesla Whistleblower

I was reading a bit this morning about a topic that's finally getting some attention. Granted, this is with Tesla, but they're the same problems every mfg has with driver aids. Mazda seems to be the most dangerous with their automatic braking that can't be turned off in the CX30- I removed the fuse and just have to live with no blindspot monitoring with a shitty design that limits rear visibility. Although much more accurate, Fords collision warning is still not perfect. I was leaving my neighborhood which sadly has street parking. Going around a slight curve, the collision warning was set off. At least it didn't slam on the brakes like the Mazda does. These systems are a liability at best.

i can say for me its saved my bacon more than a few times
one was a deer, one that made me pucker was a person STOPPED short at 65 and decided to turn left NOW on a 2 lane highway
truck braked, did an evasive swerve into emergency lane then once passed it resumed set speed and i counted my blessings, as i would have creamed the crap out of the back of the car in front of me. there was zero time or react. lady was hauling tail and then just out of blue STOOD on brakes and swerved into a left turn.
