A supplier of aluminum for the F150 caught fire and will be out of commission until 2026. Could delay those F150 orders.

I had the dealer do one of those free oil changes on my last truck. 3 days later I found the engine’s oil cap sitting on the battery. Never again.
Not a dealer but I know a woman that bought new tires from a national tire store and received a free oil change as part or her purchase. On her way...
You were doomed the minute you turned into a Firestone shop. I’ve never owned a set of Firestone tires that didn’t give me trouble and I’ve never been to a Firestone shop where I received anything that remotely resembled customer service or support.
The first 3 years of owning my XLT it was also mostly a toy. I drove it an average of 1500 miles a year. I did change the oil every 12 months even though it had low mileage because that’s what the spec calls for. This past year I drove it 10k miles. Feel like I’m abusing it.:cwl:
I know a woman that took her car to get new tires. The shop offered a free oil change with the tire job. The guy that did the oil change installed the drain plug finger tight. The engine grenaded on the interstate a few days later when the plug fell out and all her oil drained.
I’m the first one to take a swing at a dealership, given the chance, but a painted panel doesn’t mean anything nefarious is going on. New vehicles get touchups all the time. A good dealer would correct the paint. Just don’t look underneath.
That is an easy diy replacement. I had the same type damage. I bought the bumper cover off of eBay for $120 and had it painted for about $100. Installed myself in less than an hour. Easy
XLT 302a was the sweet spot for me. Mine has most if not all options except the sunroof which I do not want. The only things a Lariat has that I’d like is vented seats or power folding mirrors. It just wasn’t worth the up charge to me to go lariat just to get those features. Plus the dealership...
