I’ve been experimenting with Cerakote Rapid ceramic. So far I’m liking it and it seems to last a while. It has a low gloss, new-tire look to it which suits my tastes.

Slim pickings for the 5.0 in that configuration for sure. I’m glad that you found what you mostly wanted. I hope it’s a great truck for you.
BTW, while I still wish that I could have found a 5.0, this PB that I have is so far excellent and has exceeded my expectations.
As a side note, I’m impressed that you found a 5.0, BAP+ Super Crew. Back in May/June I could not order one, and there were none to be found on a dealer lot within a 100 mile radius from where I am. Had to go with the PB.
True. If you have the Ford Security Package enabled, including the start inhibit and the rest, disables the ability to turn off vehicle connectivity settings. I’m not thinking this is OP’s issue, though.
Ford wouldn’t make two different console shifter assemblies. Make just the foldable for those that have the folding workspace and the rest will just have it.
Gotta love it! The tech came over today (same guy that handled my previous two recalls) and had the IPC recall done in 20 minutes. I thanked him and bought him lunch.
I completely understand where you are coming from. My father in law was 82 when he bought his 2022 F-150. He was not happy that they didn’t include an old school hard copy of the owners manual and he was not about to use the tiny screen in his XL (or his flip phone) to look up stuff in the...
I had a wiper motor recall on my former ‘22 and I never had it fixed. I drove it for 3 years without issue. I took my chances.
On my 2025 I took care of the brake boost one as soon as possible, well, because it involves the brakes. The IPC recall seems a bit less detrimental, so letting that...
I installed the OEM splash guards on my former 2022. They helped quite a bit to keep the truck cleaner, especially in the winter. It cuts down considerably on the snow and ice buildup between the bottom of front doors and the running boards.
