Mine happens pretty consistently at multiple locations so I am now assuming it is either a wiring connection issue, antenna problem or failing module in the truck.
Old battery was still discharging faster than it would charge and quickly got back into the 60% range with low voltage DTC codes again. Replaced it over the weekend with another H8 Motorcraft and the new one recovers quick and doesn’t have the constant discharge problem. The charging system...
Ford parts shows the junction box labeled 15604 as a part of the keyless entry system. I will have to check the connections there once it warms up outside in a couple days.
The dealership tore that side of the truck dash apart recently to replace the damper motor on the HVAC so maybe that is what’s going on. Maybe they didn’t get it plugged all the way in or damaged the cable. Now I need to figure out what I am even looking for back there.
Lately along with the other electrical gremlins my truck has, the key fob randomly quits working. None of the buttons on either fob will do anything including locking, unlocking or remote starting. The fob is still recognized when I walk up to the truck and allows the door handle sensors to work...
Decided to replace my BMS module after reading this thread. The old module was always letting the battery get very low and routinely saw 65% SOC. The battery would never recover from the low voltage driving and the key fob had started not working anymore. Fully charged the battery and changed...
I don’t know what revision they are but the new headlights put in my truck are awful compared to the original ones. It was 2024 when they were replaced.
Oh man! I am excited to have a brand new module to throw codes on my truck!! It’s like I still won the lottery even though my Mega Millions ticket was a loser.
I need Fords lawyers to hand me a brand new replacement truck and take mine back to Dearborn and deconstruct it to figure out why it's unfixable. I keep getting emails from dealerships to trade it in but these new prices are absurd!
