I average 26 - 29 mpg in the city and 21 - 25 mpg on the highway. (Hills and wind can affect the mpg.)

City = Less than a 10-mile drive with lights every 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile.
Highway = More than a 10-mile drive on a divided highway.

As everyone has said, get to know the truck using the Eco Coach. I have had two PowerBoost trucks (2021 and 2024) and it takes time to learn how to drive to get into Electric mode. It also takes time for the truck to learn your driving style.

Being a previously owned PowerBoost it will take time for the computer and transmission to learn your driving style. Use the Eco Coach and 'tap the break' after getting to the speed limit to get the truck into Electric mode. Like a horse, it will 'link' to your style after some time and a few miles.

Driving style is everything. I have a 5.0, but I track every tank (18 so far as of this post). My worst tank was 16.19 mpg and my best was 26.24 mpg. Guess which one was strictly short trips into town with a little bit of hooning from lights, and which one was a straight interstate trip up the east coast?

Lifetime average through 107k miles is 17.7mpg (hand calculated, actual fuel fills, actual miles) including a little towing 7500lb trailer and a lot of freeway 80mph. But driving around town or on quiet non-highway roads is typically well above 20mpg, see picture ?

Depends on how you drive, tire type, and tire air pressure

Anyone have a trip meter with more than 25-50 miles? I got 21.7 MPG over a distance of 884 miles. Average speed over 12 hours = 72.7 miles per hour. (not going slow for sure) Big gas tank, so I stopped once to top it off. 262 mile range with just over 1/4 tank left! I love this trucks mileage.

Would love to see PB numbers for a much longer trip.
Oh, and this isn't a PB, just an 3.5 Eco. ;)

I'm leveled w/ 34.1" LT tires and tremor skid plate / airdam delete.

To and from the smokey mountains with some around town driving while there, lots of hills (this trip manually down shifting to avoid boost on climbs nets another 1 MPG)

10 miles short of destination on above trip

390 mile trip while picking up the 24 F150 was 21.4 -- Seems to be the average backwoods/state highway in the hills / mountains as I'm able to hit 21.4 often in similar trips, some in-town driving, most miles at 65/75mph.

One of the PB's better tricks, 51 minutes of idling and a 16 minute drive

In all seriousness, I do get between 15 and 30 depending on the state of the battery when I start. But on average I'm around 23.

My average over 2.5 years and 26k miles is between 20-21 according to the truck. Most of my driving is between 45-75 mph.

Since the title did not specify.......

I get 24 mpg highway with my 2022 RCBS 5.0 with 3.73 and the LT A/T tires it came with.

Well, if I play nice and keep it in Normal mode. I just have to keep at 73 mph or lower.

Overall is still over 20 if I stay off the pedal. That is hard to do......

Nice! How fast were you typically cruising on your trip?

I have one mpg photo of a 2024 XLT Powerboost 4x4 that I rented back in June for a long road trip. It’s not a trip meter, but it was taken after about 1000 miles of fast hwy driving. From Louisiana to New Mexico, it held around 22 mpg while cruising at 78-80 mph the whole way. Went down to 21 while cruising around in Arizona and Nevada. On the return trip back to Louisiana, I was booking it pretty hard on the I-10 in west Texas, got down to 20. I was thoroughly impressed. My 2012 Ecoboost would have to stay below 65 to get 22 mpg! Notice there was no boost at 78 mph? That’s the key to get great interstate mpg—stay out of the boost as much as you can.

Cruising 80mph mine get 23.5 to 24 mpg.

Crusing at 65mph gets 26.5-27mpg.

My old Tacoma 4.0L got about 16 mpg no matter what the freeway speed was so the F150 is a huge improvement.
