This trip is a combo of rural routes in NC plus beach time on the outer banks. MPGs were better but spent a couple hours in 4WD in the soft sand N of Corolla.

I noticed your CEL and and battery lights are on - did you just turn it on?

Yes. Just turned the display on to take the photo while fueling up. Did not start.

That's what I get at ~85mph. What size / brand are the tires? Pics?
Hi
The tires are Ironman AT2 tires(275/60R20). I have updated the post with tire picture.

I average 26 - 29 mpg in the city and 21 - 25 mpg on the highway. (Hills and wind can affect the mpg.)

City = Less than a 10-mile drive with lights every 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile.
Highway = More than a 10-mile drive on a divided highway.

As everyone has said, get to know the truck using the Eco Coach. I have had two PowerBoost trucks (2021 and 2024) and it takes time to learn how to drive to get into Electric mode. It also takes time for the truck to learn your driving style.

Being a previously owned PowerBoost it will take time for the computer and transmission to learn your driving style. Use the Eco Coach and 'tap the break' after getting to the speed limit to get the truck into Electric mode. Like a horse, it will 'link' to your style after some time and a few miles.
Hi, I see the term 'use the eco coach'. Is this something we need to turn on or is it always on but needs time to adjust the system?

19.8 MPG is my lifetime average at 30,000 miles on my 5.0L V8, typically comprised of around town and 75ish MPH highway runs. Consistently see 23 MPG if going a lot of highway. Won a bid on a job about an hour away and have been getting 22-23 averaging all highway lately.

23k miles, 10k miles with 7500lb airstream and agveraged 19.4. 11.4 with the trailer. Bet that would make my average around 24mpg if I hadn’t pulled the trailer around.

I primarily drive in what I consider a worst case scenario area for fuel efficiency, the roads are almost all 55 mph with traffic lights so it's basically full time accelerating and braking and I average 20.4 mpg. Some trips I am around 15, others I am 22-23.

If I go on long highway trips where I am just cruising for a while I am easily in the high 20's. One thing I have found that really helps is to rely on the cruise control as much as possible. Even though I feel like I am accelerating the same as the truck does on it's own, the cruise control gets way better gas mileage than I an eek out under my own control.

I am on the factory hankook tires.

I get 27 MPG with the little diesel in mine and always drive it like I stole it. This is city and highway combined so highway only might be better except we drive 100+ MPH in Texas on the freeway.

Eco Coach is one of the views you can have displayed on your dash. It gives you a visual guide if you are accelerating or braking too hard, and where the sweet spot is for best mileage. Use the menu button on your steering wheel to access it.

I routinely get over 23 MPG on my morning commute. On Wednesday I drove from San Diego to Burbank and back (+200 miles) and averaged 24 MPG up and 22 MPG back.
