I pull a 27’ airstream Globetrotter. Empty is 6200, full with stock and spare parts for Alaska came in just over 7500. It pulls, and more importantly, stops just fine. I use a 3p hitch so there is no sway and the distribution is easy to dial in. I do believe the shape of the trailer really...
When my window was smashed out and everything stolen in Oregon a couple years ago, we HAD to get a new key made. The dealer was the only option as nobody had the key for the new gen trucks. The dealer was able to get the key cut and programmed for about $450, but that was in 2023 so I’m sure...
Also, I’m not necessarily a foil hat kind of person, but it’s insanely easy and “affordable” to program a 3rd key IF you have 2 keys. So, it’s not a bad idea to keep one at home too.
Cool way to mount it!
the noco5 uses a 8 step charge process. It will use what amps and volts it needs to complete the steps to keep the battery in the best health possible. Fixed or flat rate float chargers are sorta old school at this point. I know the noco10 can act as a power supply, but...
Well, the yellow top is in a 57 Chevy, making it one of the newest parts of the vehicle. It also doesn’t have to run a bunch of computers and such. The biggest draw is probably the 8 track player. 😂
My stock Ford battery made it 38 months before it gave me the “going to sleep” message. I even...
The manual suggest that you’ll be fine to leave the charger on all the time. For reference, I have a 14 year old optima yellow top battery and charger that I leave on all the time. It’s still reporting 100%.
They make this without amp setting. It will do what it needs to do to charge the...
Good info there. Interesting. I have a Victron shunt in my trailer so I can watch the electrons go in and out of the batteries. It’s amazing how sometimes I can charge the batteries with 10+amps and other times get nothing…all in the same drive. I have no idea what the catalyst is for the charge...
I’m in the recall. Really not worried about it. I’ve done fuel pumps in most cars I’ve owned. Rather annoying. The last fuel pump I did was an Escalade. 3rd one for it. Rather than drop the tank and such, I just cut a hole in the floor….for ease on the next one.
My 16 year old took my electric mower, trimmer, and blower and went to find some lawns to mow. 14 lawns later, he thinks he needs to raise his prices. ?
Said it was nice having the powerboost easily charging batteries and keeping the AC running.
It is an interesting discussion. He can sure rub people the wrong way I bet, even though he’s probably correct about everything he talks about out.
I’m positive I’m one of the unmeasured failures. My transmission constantly has issues and the half dozen time the dealer has looked at it they’ve...
I know it’s a Ford forum, but the BMW has red led light bars on the back, similar to these DRL. Every single X1 I’ve been behind has the drivers side inner light bar burned out. Clearly a design or supply issue. When my first one failed a few months after warranty, I ordered a new one from...
