I just noticed the Ford website has been updated with the 2026 builds.

Does anyone know how soon the Ford Sync update page usually takes to reflect updates done with FDRS? I just noticed that my Sync page now only says Sync version 4 without any other information.

I would agree that the process moved pretty quickly. I didn’t remember until after my post that the TCU received 2 updated. The last TCU was done with a USB drive. After that update is when the final APIM update showed up.

My AC was running for about a 15 mile test drive. Noting caught my attention. If I do notice any issues, I will be sure to post an update to the thread.

After starting with the 6.7.0 update that wouldn’t complete OTA, we processed every module update (except the BCM due to password). Total time start to finish was about 6 hours spent. The IPC 6.7.0 used a USB for the update and took about 45 minutes total. We then updated the GWM, followed by...

I will update on what happens. Question.. 6.7.0 is an IPC update, correct? According to @jfalat I do have IPC showing in FDRS. Would it be this update that is being a pia? If so, we’ll be doing this one first.

My son has access to FDRS from his work and we were thinking of pushing updates this weekend. what are your thoughts, Javier?

I Don’t know what gives on this update. I also can’t get it to complete after at least 4 tries and a charged battery. There are other factors than the battery charge. I also seen reports of another update failing for some. Maybe Ford server side issues lately?

Update failed again. This time the IPC did reset my custom settings. Saw a message saying the update failed. Ford will prepare another update and try again.

I have a battery charger connected and have been charging for a few hours. just started the update again. Fingers crossed. Also, I don’t know if it would have caused any issues but I reversed my Forscan changes last night in preparation for trying the update again today.

I am also stuck on this update not completing. @rugedraw This is on the VIN lookup thread for me a couple days ago. I also found a couple people complaining on FB about this update. Perhaps Ford has some issues with this one.

Well, Ford pulled my vin from their hat today. Truck downloaded 6.7 but it failed installation saying installation interrupted. Now there’s no option to try again. Would you be able to see why it failed?

Would anyone be so kind as to look up my vin for update status? 1FTFW1ED5MFA92431 I received 6-7 updates back to back about a month ago, and now I keep getting a phantom update about once a week that doesn’t seem to be real. TIA!
