My most recent trip from the gas station back home. Had to drive the truck like it was a golf cart ;-} (No one behind me)

this is the highest electric/gasoline ratio I've hit so far

You might be correct, but this should be where the hybrid would be most effective at conserving fuel. Even when we have back to back to back errands to run, the truck doesn't get above 20MPG. Ford can easily say "conditions may vary" and ignore me so there is not much for me to do, it is just annoying that my 2018 2.7EB got the same city and better highway fuel economy. When on paper the PowerBoost should be the same or better fuel economy (which is how I justified the upgrade to the PowerBoost).
Understood, and mostly agree. It hasn't been as good as what I hoped for either. Though I'm coming from a 4Runner that got terrible mileage, so it's still an improvement. I think they biased the hybrid to the power side rather than the efficiency side, perhaps with an eye to not competing as much against the Lightning.

Brake coach is always above 70% mostly 95%+
I have my TIN FOIL hat on today, since taking the trip this past weekend I have driven the truck 3 times; each time I have gotten into the truck the dash display configuration has been re-set to factory configuration. "My View" sections went back to factory twice and this last trip the instrument cluster was back to factory gauges without my selection of boost on the right and transmission temp on the left. I don't know what's going on anymore because on the last trip it was switching from hybrid to electric all the time and the "this trip" summary showed I got 27.8mpg... I must be going crazy.
Your gauges resetting..... You think maybe your truck has recently received an OTA update or two?
They seem to have started to roll out lately to trucks that weren't getting them before.

I don't need a truck, but it is useful. I am eyeballing the Lincoln Aviator plug-in Hybrid. I need 6+ seats more than I NEED a truck bed or towing capacity. At $72K I am not rushing out the door to get it!!

The trip I took last night.
49Degrees F
City driving
Very conservative driving w/ brake coach
Auto climate @ 72*

This seems to be the usual, under 20MPG every trip regardless of driving habits, speed or temperature. 37.5% electric and still under 20MPG on the trip. I don't know what to do.
Oh yeah, it’s for sure the length of your trip in this case. No hybrid does well on short trips in winter - the engine has to run to heat the cabin and the battery is inefficient. I just ran out to grab coffee (coffee maker broke and that’s a tragedy around here) and my trip was 3.4 miles, 25 minutes, 1.6 miles electric, 15.2 MPG. Have you had the truck during the summer? Should go up then with the engine not having to run to heat the cab.

From what I understand those hybrid F1 50s only come with the 96 L fuel tank. From a full tank to empty how many kilometres or miles are you guys getting?

For me personally it's just about the same mileage for my Powerboost with a 30 gallon tank as my previous Ecoboost was with a 36 gallon tank. Pretty much a wash. I'm not disappointed at all.

Since winter - about 600 miles, I live in city/suburbia. Some 650-700 tanks in warmer weather

The only option for the PB is a 30 gallon tank.
496 miles on my last tank that was or ~800 KM for you norther folk.

Yes, we have had it in the summer, bought in July... same results.

I would never recommend someone do this…but one could allude to the fact that the truck is running bad or having issues to have the dealer go through it. Something is definitely wrong unless you’re not telling us something like you carry a 1500 pound lead plate in your bed at all times.

That's funny because I used to watch the prediction after each fill up like a contest. My record on my '17 EB (36 gal) was a prediction of 760 miles. But I was consistently around 700 or more predicted, unless I had recently done some towing.

With my powerboost, I feel like it is a small victory to get a prediction of 600 because most of the time it is below that. :(

Still have the pic of my final commute from the bay area to sacramento on my phone. I cannot come close to this in my powerboost.

My 18 KingRanch Ecoboost estimate with a full tank would normally be about 600-640.... I didn't drive it on interstate much, which was the only way it ever predicted more.
The Powerboost is usually about 600.

Thus my point of the 26 gallon Ecoboost and the 30 gallon Powerboost has been close enough to not fuel stops being almost identical.

I did that trip too many times in my 2018 2.7EB, I would regularly see fuel economy slightly lower but better than the PowerBoost. I live in a different area now and DON'T drive much, so I have different things to compare.

If by lead you mean two 40 lb bikes and a Burley Bee underneath a soft roll tonno cover. There is a misfire at idle, however the engine doesn't throw a code, you can hear it in the exhaust. This current tank is running around 19.3 MPG where that last tank was 18.8 MPG (and the last tank was mostly county highway). I have corrected the AFE and checked after four tanks to be accurate; so what the dash says is what I also hand calculate. Which I had to drop the AFE value from 1000--> 906! the AFE was so far off from the factory.

Has anyone tested to see how far they can get on just electric power? I want to know if I'm getting reasonable range out of my battery in electric mode.
I find weather is a huge factor. Here in Canada, in -20 weather it doesn't run near as often or as far in battery mode, but as soon as its around 10 celsius (50f) it seems to make a huge difference. Obviously heater settings play a big role as do battery temps before it's warmed up.

I got the longest distance in full electric this morning on my way to work of ~2.1-2.2 mi. I got fortunate to get behind a slow garbage truck right before a downhill/braking area, and the available power bar was almost gone. I've been close to accomplishing the same thing a few times in the past, but I was never able to keep the engine from kicking on for like ⅒ mi in the middle of that area.
