  1. New Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascents - 275/60R20

Just got new Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascents put on. Stock size on 20" wheels (275/60R20). I couldn't find many pics of them in this size when I was researching, so posting a few here in case anyone else wants a look-see. I wanted a white letter tire, primarily for road use, but occasional light...
  2. Just curious about Hybrid battery replacement out of warranty

Hybrid battery failed and was replaced on my truck at 42,000 miles and 2 years old. The cost was $62 because I also got an oil change :like:. Dealer gave me a number at the time, but it's not written on my invoices because it was all covered under warranty. If memory serves, they quoted about...
  3. '21 XLT halogen tail light LED retrofits

Sounds like maybe any internal resistor versions are not as reliable? Seeing issues with the underground ones I linked above. I'd rather not spend more time with the cap wiring... just hoping to avoid issues by making a change to the brake lights now. Maybe this summer I'll redo the wiring...
  4. '21 XLT halogen tail light LED retrofits

Hi all - I scrolled through 5 pages of posts and did a search and I'm not finding what I'm looking for... I know this has to have been discussed before so my apologies for not finding it. 2 questions: 1. What is a reputable vendor/brand of red LED bulbs for my 2021 XLT halogen tail lights? I...
  5. Axles replaced now what?

I have the android disconnect issue too. I find that resetting the truck screen will get it connected - hold power and seek forward for ~10s. I'll vouch for others saying the phone could be the issue too. I've had several phone updates and some made it better and some made it worse, never...
  6. So much rake!

Looks normal to me. Mine levels out when I load up for a camping trip or hook up a trailer. The fiberglass cap helps too. I wouldn't want to do any "leveling" unladen for fear of some Carolina Squat when loaded. Like others have said - it's a truck :like:
  7. New updated Max Tow axles installed

I got a snail mail recall letter about this. I plan to just bring this in to the dealer so they can't pull any fast ones.
  8. Anyone recognize this truck

It's a 2021-2023 XL, regular cab, short bed, with a custom grill and 2024+ platinum trim gloss black wheels. Lowered, custom bumper paint, likely other mods.
  9. Anyone recognize this truck

    Looks like an F-150
  10. Towing with the Powerboost—very poor mpg

'21 PB XLT here. I just did a 300mi trip with a 3500lb popup and bikes on top - 16.5 mpg there, 15.0mpg back. Going about 72mph on the freeway and about 1/3 of the way around 55mph on 2-lane highways. I also have a ~20ft double axle box trailer I tow that's about 3500lb and it gets me about...
  11. Installed a digital rear view mirror

I don't recall 100%, but I believe the mirror only controlled the outside left/right rear view mirror dimming based on the status of the center mirror inside. I don't think it affects anything else. There are no codes thrown for disconnecting the mirror.
  12. What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Yeah, I took them off :( Too much wind noise and the blind spot didn't help. More discussion in my last post in this thread: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/best-in-channel-window-deflectors.27332/post-542321
  13. 2024 3.5 Ecoboost engine cover?

+1 for cover with custom paint!
  14. Bumper proximity sensors affected by cold?

Ok, sounds like I'm not alone. Thanks guys. I physically wiped all the sensors so I know they're clean and clear. Would road salt/water/etc affect anything on the inside of the bumper that I could clean?
  15. Bumper proximity sensors affected by cold?

Hey, quick question for some folks with more experience than me. This is my first winter with the truck. Are the bumper proximity sensors affected by the cold at all? Since it got cold and icy here in Michigan my proxy sensors have been throwing warnings when there is nothing there. I...
  16. Can someone please tell me what this button next to start/stop does?

I told my kids the glovebox button is the rear passenger ejection seat. They still believe me. Works great to quiet them down once in a while :teehee:
  17. What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Undercoated for the winter. First time doing it DIY with a spray kit and a gallon of fluid film. Probably a bit heavy, but figured I'd rather be sure than miss some spots. Used the flex hose sprayer to get all in the frame and cross members. This truck is almost 4 years old and still looks...
  18. Bed Cap Install & Wiring Issues

I went out and checked my fuse box. I checked about 15 fuses or so, and they were all a steady ~12.5V or 0V; didn't matter if my ped sounder override was connected or not. I checked my 7-pin trailer connector, and with the truck off the Aux/12V pin was giving about 0.8V? Otherwise all others...
  19. Are Hybrids more likely to catch fire

Here's the way I see it - Every major manufacturer has has recalls for fire risk with some of their gas vehicles too. Noteworthy is the RAM HD recall from last year asking 300,000 vehicles to park outside. https://www.kbb.com/car-news/recall-alert-ram-hd-truck-fire-risk/ In the case of the...
  20. Bed Cap Install & Wiring Issues

Hey, question - where is the BCMC module physically located? Is this the fuse box under the hood? I'm wondering if my weird voltage issues are being caused by my pedestrian sounder override that I installed to switched power at an open fuse there... Also, AI faux-pa of the day: Thanks...
