I believe some '22s had adaptive steering as a deleted option because of parts shortages. Not sure about '21s. FWIW my Limited has it and it was a Feb '22 build.
I've had a couple issues where the shifter and transmission didn't match up. Just last night I went from drive to reverse to back onto a spot and it ended up in neutral. I went back through the motion and it worked. It's only happened a few times. Not sure how this shifter made it past quality...
They need to make it where the salesman are forced to take a seat unless someone goes into the building for help. Prevent them from tagging along for rides unless asked. That type of stuff.
The person I ordered my original truck from didn't know much about the truck I was looking at and was...
Dumb question but did you double check the setting for it? For some reason my running board setting reverted back to standard. I like having it set to extended so when I leave the truck the running boards stay down longer. This randomly changed back to standard out of the blue last week. I don't...
My employer also does it and it's been in the back of my mind to switch it up. I feel like 400miles of range is the minimum I'd go for just because I need to drive 2 hours back home and back without charging in middle of winter.
I've been checking Sierra EV prices the past couple weeks. If...
Did they really say they performed corrective action and released the truck back to you with it doing that? I agree with above, either the motor is failing or it's binding up. I would think this would be an easy issue to identify for them.
Yeah you'll pair your iPhone with the truck and that uses Apple Carplay to play music, maps, etc. from Carplay you can choose to use Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, etc. you can then use your phone or the 12" screen to route to somewhere. Carplay is an extension of your phone essentially, if you...
Hopefully someone with more knowledge chimes in if I'm wrong but my guess is that it will not have Ford's integrated navigation. You would be able to use Carplay to use Google or Apple maps, which I imagine most people do anyway. Some people prefer Ford's, but I've never used it.
When my AA acts up I reset the head unit by holding power and the FF button on the radio controls. You shouldn't have to do this but this may be a half assed solution to your problem.
This would be great. You can check for software updates but if it fails it gives you generic reason for why it failed. The truck knows why it failed I don't understand why this info can't be passed along so the owners can take the appropriate corrective actions.
My BC 1.4 update failed the...
I just follow the Ford maintenance schedule in the manual. That's the bare minimum IMO for warranty reasons. If I towed or hauled heavy loads often I'd probably replace other fluids more often.
I took my wife's SUV in for a few maintenance items and the service manager tried to sneak in a fuel...
