well, whatever works for you. I would agree that if you are charging a dead battery than sure go directly to the terminals. However, if you’re just maintaining a battery and keeping it topped off because the truck sits for 23 days a week two weeks then downstream the BMS is what’s work for meThats good and I'm not one to be quick to disregard official instructions but I was at an unacceptable place. I'd already consulted a dealer and the answer was to ignore the warnings on the dash.
