I used Firehouse Auto Spa on the 21 F150 and it went well. Had them to the 25 Explorer and the experience wasn't the same. I'll check out DJs next time, hadn't heard of them and they are closer to me.
I'm leaving FL when I retire and it has nothing to do with politics. I hate the bugs and insane humidity. Being chased by mosquitos 12 months a year sucks. Miss hills, trees, and seasons. Either heading back to north GA or western VA.
And that is part of my preflight routine on our 25 explorer. Start, seat belt, turn off ASS, put in gear. Same for rental cars when traveling for work. You see, it is called Auto Stop Start or ASS for short. ;)
The implementation by the aftermarket folks to maintain memory of the button is all OEMs need to do. But instead of throwing more hardware at it, it would just be a simple software change.
No AC in hot ass FL when the engine is off at a stop light, jerkiness of the engine start after every stop, and it is annoying AF. I will die on this hill.
I like my PB due to the power, torque, amazing stop start behavior and electric idle, 7kw geny, and it gets slightly over 20mpg. I hope Ford finds ways to improve it and make it even better.
As far as the stop start on non-PB vehicles, I loathe them.
