OK, maybe a better example would be solar powered battery bank, powering a travel trailer. Charge comes in to the batts from the PV, while load goes out from them. All there is to think about, is the resultant charge from the PV, a net positive, or negative number but the flow is varying but...
Hmmm. This is what came on mine and so far, I've no intention of switching, when the time comes.

A couple things I had to get into my head, was the significantly bigger width and height, re overhead obstacles and tree branches, as well as tail swing.
Its easy to burn into your brain that you're 11'4" tall or whatever for bridges, or better yet, use an RV safe mapping program but the rest...
I'm gonna let this run a bit more to see if it can finish but I'm getting tempted to revert to my old strategy, that served well twice, for near a yr. each.
I've driven from MO to VA in one day, multiple times. Same for FL, and MN.
But that was when we only had vacation time.
If the ultimate destination is in reach, its tempting to do it but we're more likely now, to split such trips, to 2 days, maybe see some sites along the way.
With our travel...
I'd like to find a definitive on that.
Renogy says 12.7V = 100% and 11.7 is 50%
https://www.renogy.com/blogs/general-solar/agm-battery-voltage
For this one, the same range is 13V - 12.05.

It was still flashing red when I unhooked it this morn. An hr. later, V= 12.59.
An hour after I came home from ~ 55 mi round trip, it is 12.63.
Plugged it back in and still flashing red, so it must measure something other than V to determine SOC.
As soon as I learned of the PB and it's 7.2KW PPOB, I knew that was the truck that would pull and occasionally power my travel trailer and other remote, or emergency power needs. Thats the whole reason I bought the truck. Everything else, is gravy. But I waited for a couple yrs first, knowing...
First I've heard of it.
I do know first hand, that you don't want to be using cruise, when the bridges are starting to freeze over but thats on any vehicle I suppose.
Haven't had a lot of snow time in the PB. What you say, may be true but the few times I used either 4A, or 4H in it, has been...
An hr. after returning from a 16mi RT, 12.51V.
Plugged it back in and we'll see what it looks like tomorrow.
As for Ford Pass, I'll look for my sign in stuff, log out, re-sign in. See if that works.
It is now 55hrs. since I plugged it into the charger and is still flashing red.
I have to use the truck this eve and tomorrow, so won't be able to test things as I wanted to.
I'll unplug something over an hr. before I have to leave tonight, so I can get a resting voltage reading before I...
