How'd you get your payload so high for a lariat? Mine's a loaded XLT 302a package with 1553#.
Compare window stickers is all I can tell you.

I avoided all the non essential heavy options and stuck with 18" wheels.

I'm sure it's not recommended,
I'm sure too.

I didn't find it difficult, or un-natural to keep a hand on the wheel. I could have had BC but chose not to. The vids looked awkward and I didn't like the eye sensors.

Enjoy your new ride. We know the feeling. I drove mine 7 hours back home with a huge freaking grin on my face.

That's a great truck. I had a 500a 4x4 lariat Screw I got mid 2021 with Powerboost, Copilot Assist, 360 cameras, and Tow Tech package, but it was $57,465.

Crazy, though inflation takes most of the difference ->

I use a 2.5 lb ankle weight laid over one side of the spoke at the bottom of the steering wheel. I call it the poor man's blue cruise. You still have to pay attention just like with Blue Cruise except it makes driving in the wind or on long road trips amazing. Of course I'm sure it's not recommended, but if you pay attention it works great. Good luck with your new truck.
my payload on a 502A is 1779

WOW that is really good MSRP.
you got LOTS of goodies
the stop a go cruise, lane centering stuff is AWESOME
it does spoil you real quick and makes long drives so much more less stressful
congratulations on the new RIDE

The payload on my 502a Powerboost is 1831. It would probably be around 1600 if it were a 4x4 though.
My eyes were bulging at that number until you said no 4x4. I'm at 1444-lb payload, but I know the moonroof and power tailgate aren't doing me any favors. And maybe that folding interior work surface adds a couple of pounds ?.

If I recall correctly, the moonroof and the power tailgate are each 60+ lbs, so that's 120lbs or more hit to your payload right there. I was trying to maximize my payload, so I tried to avoid those types of upgrades. I could either have a 4x4 or a powerboost (not both) and achieve the payload number that I was targeting...and I chose to give up the 4x4, since I rarely use that feature, and I really wanted the propower for dry camping. I have no regrets so far!

Thanks. Just ordered some accessories for it.

Center screen protector, Bed and tailgate mats, Mud flaps, Tonneau and Floor mats.

I've used vent shades for over 30 years but will see if I can live without them on this one. If not, I'll see what I can get from Ford when the Pass Points hit my account.

We joined the Oxford White Lariat club after trading in our Wrangler on Wednesday. Really nice interior and drives great! Glad that we gave up on our XLT custom order which had been stuck in production for over two months. We bought the Lariat for only $2K more than the XLT since we got a great deal at our local dealership.

Congratulations. If you've never had a white vehicle before, you're about to notice how much cooler they stay.
