Casper as in Casper the friendly ghost.
When I first got it I wasn't used to it lighting up when I got close. When it was new and we'd sitting with friends outside our trailer, I would shift in my seat, or stand up, and the truck detected my keys, so the truck would light up. Seemed like it...
One thing I've never though of before WRT an accident with one of my vehicles is "diminished value". I realized it when I was going to trade my 2010 in on a 2018 Fusion. The trade in value was cut in half, down to 1 to 2k.
Rather than give it to the dealer, I gave it to my D-I-L. It...
I did on my 2014 F150 Supercab. I have begun to get my money's worth on my 2022 F150 PB.
I did not get any of my money back on the 2018 Fusion SE that I have.
Unfortunately, (or fortunately), I've already gotten a bunch of my extended warranty purchase price back. The APIM failed and was replaced by the dealer, plus reprogramed.
Wow. I'm blown away by that payload capacity. My previous F150 XLT was a Max Tow and HDPP and it only had 2486# CC.
I ordered my current PB (XLT, Super Crew, 6.5' box) as carefully as I could in order to get as much CC as possible. I felt good squeezing out 1645#.
The main option that I...
February 2022. Ordered new. 38,000 miles. To this point, still going strong. Many of those miles towing, and a lot of hours generating power to my travel trailer.
I haven't had my tailgate open by itself in 37k miles yet. Fortunately I suppose, even if the tailgate popped loose, it can't come down. This is due to the type of tonneau cover I have. It's one piece Undercover brand tonneau. It hangs over the sides and rear slightly.
Therefore the...
I wonder why 2 PPoB's built in 2022 can be so different.
Knocking on wood, my MY22 XLT PPoB has only seen the dealer to fix 2 recalls and for 5K miles oil changes.
I hope I haven't jinxed it.
So far, PB has run continuously only a few times, and that was my fault. I had left either the heater or AC in the cabin on. When I've made sure nothing was left on, it's worked like it's supposed to, 1 to 2 minutes every 20 minutes or so. I will use it from Friday afternoon to Sunday...
I haven't had an ounce of trouble from either batteru (knock on wood). I'm just anticipating the day when I do. When that day happens, should I replace both, even if only one is giving me trouble.
When my current OEM under hood battery needs replacing, should the the rear seat battery be replaced at the same time? Or replace it on it's own schedule?
My truck always sits outside. I have mine set to receive OTA's beginning every day at 1 AM. I do not seem to get nearly as many updates as others do on this forum. I did get the latest Blu Cruise update, even though I do not have Blue Cruise. At the end of all the verbiage it did note I...
