1400 of park sensors, those radars can be had for ~$50 on ebay (I bought some for 35) as they're just BLIS radars (PMI the IPMA to program them, real simple). The CCM varies in price, w/ bracket can be had around $350. Your truck is a 21 and you could probably source parts from wrecked 22s and 23s where the front end was still in tact. You can find new painted hoods on ebay for the price they quoted on just the unpainted hood (ford still using same hoods today so take offs are easy to get). You can get take off grilles cheap w/ emblems/cam for 1/3 of their quote.

Not sure if any of that benefits you or if they're quoting 'new' prices or you can supply such parts at that compensation level. At lot of parts out the available on the cheap vs what they quoted.

other guys Insurnace, I’m not super worried on the cost. Just want to make sure there aren’t any shortcuts.

There are things related to the Power Boost functioning correctly located up front. Wouldn't let just any Yahoo fix this.

Had a 21 PB an this is one reason for going strictly ICE in a 22
What? In the bumper?

I personally would not have Ford do your work.
Find a professional auto body shop to do it. It's their niche and what they specialize in

It is a body shop, it just has the same ownership as the ford dealer. They seem to operate independently

As long as they use genuine Ford parts and not aftermarket parts with a good technician it should come out well.

That can be put back together, the big thing is getting it in a shop that actually knows late model F150s and spends the time to calibrate every sensor, not just hang a new bumper and call it good. Pick the body shop yourself, not just whoever USAA pushes, and get a copy of their frame measurements and calibration report when it is done. I am just down in South Carolina and had a front end hit on a newer truck, and the injury lawyer I was working with, The Solomon Law Group in Columbia, was the one who pushed for OEM parts, proper sensor calibration and a diminished value claim when the adjuster tried to cheap out. If anything feels off when you get it back, bring it straight back while the claim is still open.

One thing I've never though of before WRT an accident with one of my vehicles is "diminished value". I realized it when I was going to trade my 2010 in on a 2018 Fusion. The trade in value was cut in half, down to 1 to 2k.

Rather than give it to the dealer, I gave it to my D-I-L. It looked and ran like a perfectly fine automobile.

If my truck should get hit, but not totaled, I would like to get a check for the difference between the value of the truck before and after the accident.
