Hail damage vehicle

Been tossing around the idea of upgrading and I love a great deal. Would you all ever consider a hail damage vehicle?

I saw a 24 XLT powerboost brand new only 8 miles for 40k even! MSRP says 68k!!

what would you look for and would you care if it had golf ball sized dents all over??

Be damn careful with that.

A friend of mine was looking at a GMC in Northern Texas. That truck had a large amount of hail damage. Luckily he checked with his insurance company before signing the paperwork. His particular insurance company, which I think was either Allstate or State Farm stated that they would not ensure the vehicle. This was due to the amount of damage that the dealer had reported.

Depending on how bad the hail damage is and you might be able to have a pointless dent repair company fix the most noticeable spots it for a fairly reasonable price and still be well under sticker price for it.

If it was enough damage to end up with a salvage tile, most insurance companies wont insure it, most lender's wont loan on it , resale value low and hard to resell unless selling super cheap.
