Just got back from our trip to Granger.
The transaction was exactly as advertised and trouble free. Chip is great to work with, as were all the others involved. Prompt, courteous and helpful. Couldn't ask for more.
I'll take better pics of the truck later but for now, a couple to lock in some info.
Surprise. It came with running boards.
None of the pics showed them. None of them. Not the B&P site, not My Account at Ford, not Ford Pass. They are listed in the description of the 501a on the B&P site but are mentioned nowhere else. I didn't know for sure and neither did Chip.
But they didn't hurt my payload.
The tires on the 4x4 PB 501a are 18" GY Wranglers.
It came with the 800CCA batt.
Intelligent Adaptive Cruise is a wonderful system. Its gonna spoil me, as will Assist 2.0. Took a bit to trust them but wow. They're almost freaky.
I don't have to tell ya about the power, or the effortless speed. Yes, I let it breathe a little but it's so fast, those times were short lived.
Even so ...
Love the customizable gauges.
Lots to learn. So many choices. It'll take me a bit to get it fully dialed in but I'm diggin it.
Thanks for all the sharing you guys do, that helped me make the decisions on the build and about Granger.
