On my 2024 KR, the lights come on and the running boards extend when I approach the truck with the key fob in hand. The mirrors do not unfold and the doors do not unlock until I touch the door handle.
Thumbs up on the Ford ESP. Always good to have piece of mind on a machine like this.
I believe the auto-dimming rear view mirror is standard on Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum/Platinum+, and is available on the XLT. Check you sticker to make sure you have it, or you can look at the back of...
Welcome! I have a 2024 Powerboost as well and absolutely love it.
If you plan to keep your truck for several years, one suggestion you might consider is an extended warranty. There is a lot of tech in these trucks that could be very costly to repair once you get outside the basic...
Excellent! Thanks for the pictures and the walk-thru. Very helpful!
Given that there is a full 3M strip along the top and bottom of the deflector, it sounds like there would be minimal water intrusion. Does it seal well specifically at the drain tracks that run down the hood?
Good deal. I would be very interested in your feedback. Post some photos if you get a chance. I am not a huge fan of the 3M tape installation, but it looks like our options are going to be extremely limited at this point.
I just received a notification from WeatherTech that they now have a hood/bug deflector shield available for what they are calling the "unique" F150 hood, which looks to be for the 2022 - 2025 Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum. Price is $79.95. Here is the link...
We may be talking about the same "flashing" green light, but mine will eventually go to a slow pulsing green. I believe this indicates a conditioning/re-conditioning state.
In my "retired" state, I only average about 500 miles per month. I usually plug the Noco in once a week (Sat or Sun)...
^^^ THIS!! ^^^
I got a quote from Granger for 4% under invoice and used it to negotiate my 2024 King Ranch thru my local dealer. I didn't quite get the full 4%, but I saved the cost and time of travel to Iowa, and got all my tax/tag issues handled thru the dealer with no added dealer "fluff"...
Ford did not put the diaper on the 2024. I had it on my 2013, and it was a pain to keep in in place as time passed.
If you want something to protect the transmission pan (and other areas underneath - including the cats), I would suggest looking at what Talons Garage has to offer. I put their...
I would suggest reaching out to them directly to inquire. When I ordered mine, their website only showed the 2023 version for the powerboost, so I reached out to confirm fit for my 2024 before placing the order. Everything fit fine. Just give them a call. Great outfit, IMO...
I would like to see multi-year subscription options at a discounted rate. And a discount that increases with the number of years chosen. Otherwise, for the one or two road trips I take each year, $50 per month may be the way to go for me...
A Ford rep called me last week about subscribing and, while I really liked BlueCruise during my trial subscription, I just don't do enough highway driving to justify the current annual pricing - even at this new level. I am glad to see the drop in the monthly pricing, which could come in handy...
So, I also received the required update notification a few days ago. Sadly, it looks like we are stuck for now.
For grins, I went to the Google Play store, and saw that the Fordpass app rating is now up to 4.6! WTF! The rating was around 3.4 a month ago, and now it is 4.6?!?!. What a crock...
I found it at APKMirror.com. Just search for "Fordpass" and scroll down to the 4.37.0 version. There are two variants of the 4.37.0 version - I downloaded the "nodpi" version.
I deleted the Fordpass 5.x app from my phone, and then re-installed the 4.37.0 APK. It works great. Everything is...
FYI, I received an email from EGR earlier today indicating they do not plan on offering a hood deflector for the Tremor hood.
So, of the three manufacturers I contacted (AVS, EGR, and Weathertech), it looks like only AVS plans to produce a hood deflector for the Tremor hood. Hopefully we will...
Just got feedback from AVS. Looks like they plan on releasing a Tremor hood deflector by the end of Q2 - which would be the end on June if they operate on the CY basis. Here is the response they provided:
FYI, I reached out to Weathertech about this issue, and it does not look like they plan on making one for the Tremor hood. Here is the response I received earlier today:
Hello Jeff,
I do not see anything on the production schedule for that vehicle. I do not believe we will be making them...
Roger that. Thanks for the feedback. Mine is an FX4 and has the factory skip plates, but nothing covering the transmission. I'm planning to add a Talons Garage transmission/cat cover skid soon - just waiting on some feedback about fitment for MY24.
