Yep. 50/50 soft button shows up at speed... Just doesn't do anything. And trailer reverse down the sides works as well. Click. Click. Click.Looks correct to me, you should also have option to use 50/50 split screen down sides of truck at speed. You can get this now in reverse with trailer view. It is same as turn signal view just more narrow.
I have the soft button enabled on dash, just need the IPMA update to make it function.
I don't understand why some people around here are dicks. You might as well called me a moron, acting like I don't know what I'm talking about. You can check the most recent update version in the fordpass app, if you have it. Just sayin, I don't believe that you had 6.3 a month ago
(not trying to be a dick, maybe you're right and i'm the dummy here lol)
My apologies, I stand corrected. As I said, I'm not trying to be a dick, I was just under the impression that it would have been impossible to get the update in October, as this thread was only just posted a week ago. But clearly I don't know shit about OTA updates and should keep quiet.I don't understand why some people around here are dicks. You sure you are not just hitting the OK button to accept the drive mode without thinking?I had updates listed in fdrs. Several. My sync is 980. Haven't had much time driving it but the BIG thing that caught my attention was the drive mode I last had before I shut off truck resumed when returning. I now get a message asking if I want to resume the mode. I always drive in sport mode if I remember to reset it. Now it sticks. Another major thing is transition from electric to ice is super smooth. I can't feel it. Also I think my electric is going farther. I haven't looked at the hv pids yet to confirm. I had to give the truck to my son for a trip the last few days. I only had a day.with it.
Are there ways to see what current strategies are on modules. I got abs, apim, hvac, something in the eye camera, stearing, and a few more. Rear passenger seat is much more sensitive to passengers weight for the warning chimes upon exiting.
I bricked my truck during all the fdrs updates and Hesse helped get it going so after I got the hell out of fdrs. I didn't check the update numbers.
I did go into it with forscan and removed the reverse black bar and added temp displays.
The update was rolled out and then Ford pulled it due to some bugs that were in the original release. Very few people got it at that time. Now that the bugs were worked out, it is being pushed out aggressively. My apologies, I stand corrected. Post in this thread so you don't get missed.![]()
I’m not sure what’s going on with my truck but I’m not getting updates anymore on my 2022 F150 Lariat.
My vin is 1FTFW1E85NFC24995
I’m in Atlanta and can’t seem to figure out what’s happening. Any help is appreciated.
A few years ago I drove a Honda Accord that had this feature, I thought it was a really really good safety feature. It only worked with the right turn signal on, and the camera displayed a few lines too…one lined up with the rear of the car.I was wondering the same thing. For the side view cameras to work, you can be in any drive mode, but you have to have a trailer connected to the connector in the bumper.
If it can be done, no one has figured it out yet. The only way is by plugging something in to the trailer tow connecter that creates a voltage draw to trick the truck into thinking a trailer is connected. Your truck being a 2023 can activate this feature easily with just two FORScan changes.A few years ago I drove a Honda Accord that had this feature, I thought it was a really really good safety feature. IMHO this should be a standard feature on the F150.
@fordtruckman2003 is there anyway to get my F150 to do this without a trailer and not in Tow mode? Sort of just default to do this all the time when driving and using the right turn signal.
I tried that, but couldnt find anything that had enough draw that I wanted to keep plugged in to the trailer connector all the time. If you could find something to accomplish this, you dont need to be in Tow/Haul mode for the side cameras to work.If it can be done, no one has figured it out yet.
