It won't work for this. That only applies to updates that require the vehicle to be inhibited. This is not one of those updates and if you get it sent, it will go through regardless of your auto-updates schedule settings.

I find this really interesting because my truck never auto installs and always prompts me to download the update, for other people it seems that it just automatically applies regardless of the settings. 2021 Job2

It may seem that way because of the way the OTA process works. If you get sent a non-inhibition update, it will sit in your queue until you start the truck. This is why many people report an OTA happening while driving. When the OTA is in your queue and you start the truck, you'll see the little symbol on the top left of the screen. At that point, you go to your updates screen and check for updates and you see that the update is downloading. The update will download and install regardless of whether you go to that screen or not and regardless of your auto-update schedule settings.

If the vehicle needs to be inhibited, the OTA trigger still needs to be activated by you starting the truck as far as the file download process goes. However, the update will NOT install unless you manually tell it to, or until the time you have your auto-updates set to.

Thanks, I've always gotten a prompt to allow the update to download, I'll see if I can capture the behavior when this one hits.

I loved the side turn signal camera on my Honda. A valued extra safety feature especially in City environments with those pesky bike or motorcycle couriers.

I took picture of screen now and I'll compare to whatever it does when Ford OTA gods deem me worthy of an update.

For those who have received this update, you may want to check to see if your SiriusXM programming is available after the update. My update completed this morning after I had returned from a drive. I then went to an appointment in my truck this afternoon, and SiriusXM would only tune to the preview channel. After my appointment, I went to SiriusXM.com and had a refresh signal sent to the radio. All of my stations showed back up a few minutes after that.

Not 100% sure what they changed. I already had unreal theme enabled.

I got this update for my 23 back in October. The only changes I noticed in Sync, is the font is slightly different.

2021 job 1 Platinum. Got 6.3.0 today. Sync version 1049. Here is the photo someone asked for...

Sirius XM worked fine. Side cameras still don't work upon hitting the turn signal... Unreal theme still works and the sound balance/fade is still showing up down/right from where it really is.

Most interesting to me.... 2.1 GB of the 6.3.0 download came to the truck via my WIFI this afternoon. First time I have seen any significant OTA downloads move across my home wifi.
