What did you go with?
The PHEV really intrigues me. Almost the perfect concept for my wife. She takes many little short trips each day during the week (workout, shop, pickleball, etc.). She could putt around most days and I’m sure wouldn’t go over 30miles….so full electric. Then when she...
I really like the look of it with the black appearance package. But I’m not sure I could get one just yet. I’ve had black vehicles from 1995 until 2023 when I got my AMB Tremor V8. The AMB looks almost black in lots of different lighting, so it’s my gateway color to possibly more color in my...
We got slammed pretty good today with a winter snow, so what did I do? I used the remote start via the Ford Pass (love, love, love this feature), as well pressed the 4A button.
This is from early in the day, before the heavy stuff started coming down.
1). Before spending too much money on anything, I have had GREAT success with WD-40 and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. This might not solve the carpal tunnel thing, but if it comes off easy, maybe just do a section at a time, and knock it out over a few days. Then wash the truck to get the WD40 off...
You can always to a fly and drive to Granger…that’s what I did….but considerably less miles away than you.
I refuse to buy any vehicles from the two Ford dealerships closest to me. When I was shopping back in late 2022, and they wanted over MSRP…like $10k for a Tremor and $25K for Raptor...
I have a 2023 5.0 and a Noco Genius2 (uninstalled), and a stock battery. Whenever it gets super cold here, and I haven’t driving the truck in a while, it will go into the battery saving mode. Once I connect it to the Noco, the next day it’s in maintenance/fully topped off mode.
I’m a...
THIS!
I bought my truck from Granger, which for me is 338 miles away, so there wasn’t a chance to use them for any service. I did the first oil change myself, just to get to learn the truck a bit, and just for the heck of it. Since then, I take my truck to a Ford dealership that isn’t that...
I really prefer the Granger buying experience.
Look at the order forms. Pick what you want. Add the total of the invoice price column, multiply by 97% (or whatever the current deal is) and then add like a few bucks for a doc fee….I cannot remember what it was…something like $50 or whatever...
Same....I hope mine lasts for another 8 years. Once it hits 10 years (at the latest) I will move on. That's a long time and things will can change, but right now, I am leaning toward F250 as the next replacement.
WOW!!!
I was today years old when I found out you cannot get a Platty or KR with the V8. WTF Ford?!?!
I have a 2023 Tremor V8....always loved the Tremor but stayed away until the V8 was an option. I never imaged that for the top levels a V8 isn't even an option. Wow, just Wow!
Thanks for the info, but I'm just not willing to do the tweaks. At this point, I've learned to live with it, even though its one of my favorite options on vehicles. I don't wish to tear into the dash or mess with Forscan at the moment.
I wish they would allow a Tremor with the 6.5 box.
I have a 2023 Tremor V8, and the only thing I would change if I could would be to have it with the 6.5 box, and oh yeah.....a heated steering wheel that got deleted :)
To each his own. I’ve always felt that cookie sheet was cheesy and tacky for any trim level truck. It‘s sort of a double negative whammy for me….not a fan of chrome (or chrome look) and not a fan of “signage”.
It just doesn’t go with any color either.
Again, to each his own.
