2026 F-150 Ruby Red Metallic - First Looks

When I ordered my 2013, I would have gotten RR instead of silver, but there was a 6 month delay on RR. Looks great with the BAP.

Ill have to wait and see one in person. Wondering if there will be any noticeable difference in the old Ruby Red compared to the new RR.

I will say this. Ruby Red was one of my favorite colors until Rapid Red came out. Ruby was a nice deep red but Rapid seemed more vibrant and popped more.

All I wanted was a Rapid Red but apparently no dealer orders a truck like mine in Rapid Red. Every single I found online while looking with either a short bed or a 501A package. EVERY SINGLE ONE!!! oh, and in chrome 99% of time as well.

I had Ruby Red on my three previous F-150's and one of my wife's Ford Escapes (she hated having two vehicles the same color but we got a good deal on the Escape). My current truck would have been Kodiak Brown or Ruby Red also had Ford not discontinued the Kodiak and replaced the Ruby Red color with Rapid Red. The Rapid Red was just enough of a tint lighter that my topper/shell looked odd on it until I was able to sell the shell.

I have to say that I got a lot of unsolicited compliments on my 2019 Ruby Red (Sport) at gas stations and store parking lots. I keep my vehicles clean and have received a few on my current but the 2019 was a compliment magnate.

This weekend I ordered a 2026 Ranger with the 2.7L ecoboost, in Ruby Red, with the sandstone interior. I (obviously) like the colour.

I guess it's OK if ya like a red truck. Me thinks RR is more appropriate on a Mustang or an SUV.

Beautiful color. It’s almost….. as pretty as my Rapid Red Metallic. I also have the BAP. This is the nicest vehicle I’ve ever had, inside and out.

I really like the look of it with the black appearance package. But I’m not sure I could get one just yet. I’ve had black vehicles from 1995 until 2023 when I got my AMB Tremor V8. The AMB looks almost black in lots of different lighting, so it’s my gateway color to possibly more color in my life. I’m always worried that the red will be fine for a few months or even years, and then I might really grow sick of it. That, and my dad drives a TOTAL POS Town and Country minivan that is red/maroon. So there’s that.

But I think I saw an F250 Tremor in Ruby Red a few yeas ago, with the black appearance package and it was perfect Looking.

I do not think you can go wrong with Ruby Red! It is a very sharp color and combined that with the Black Appearance package and it has that sporty look! Great color either way.
