ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I don’t know what’s going on. This says you have purchased a valid license but you never activated it. Does it match what you tried to input into FDRS? If so, you might be headed for a customer service call.

Called 3 times. Has sent me to their voicemail after 10 min. Left voicemail and requested a callback in their automated system.

Yes. Then tried manually. Restarted computer. Uninstalled fdrs. Tried 3 different versions of fdrs.

Hmm. Maybe they’re getting a lot of calls. They were having problems with log-ins and activations a while ago. Maybe those problems are back.

It's amazing to me how logging in to FDRS for the first time is the hardest thing to do with FDRS.

Yea its definitely a frustrating experience.

Rotunda just called me back and said they only support windows 10 professional edition at this time. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Might need to check Windows Defender settings to make sure FDRS is allowed to access the Internet. Sounds like it can't contact the license server in the cloud. You should get a pop-up when installing and have to check the option to allow Internet access.

That is their standard response, the newest versions have shown failures on windows 11 but any of the older versions work just fine, 37.4.7 seems to be the sweet spot , the rotunda support is an absolute joke

Do you guys know if the fdrs software will work on a virtual machine? Running on Mac.

As long as you have network and usb passthrough something like parallels should work though it is obviously fully unsupported officially, Have you run the network diagnostics?

I spent several hours trying to get that to work and was not successful. I ended up buying a cheap Windows 11 laptop.

I have a Job2 2021 Platinum F-150. I noticed there is an update for the headlight control module (HCM). Does anyone know that this fixes?
