I do, but the dealership already re torqued the tailgate "rod?" or something thinking it was getting hung up on something but that didn't help. The checked for any obstructions.

Im having these same issues. Tailgate won’t always go down but tail light will flash once. Did you guys determine anything from this thread? I’ve had my truck to the dealership twice and they are puzzled.

Anyone know what triggers the map to display like this? From a. Short trial and error I have found it shows up like this when I’m .3 miles from a turn or destination and only shows up when the cluster is displaying the tire pressure. Anyone have insights?

I did buy a new battery and things went much more smooth. Auto start stop instantly started working. Also the restart required went away.

I’ll attach an image of what passed and what failed. But when I put the USB into the truck it says it’s already installed.

I’ve gotten most all of the updates done except these final two. The TCU says it’s already installed but fails the final check and the PCM says it’s installed successfully but won’t disappear from the screen. Any thoughts on the TCU?

I was able to get it working. I had to go up to the top of fdrs and hit support and redownload fdrs data. After that it ran the network scan fine. Trying TCU unit again. If it doesn’t work I’ll move onto the other modules.

I can’t get FDRS to complete a network test on the Truck. It’s getting stuck at requesting complex tools. Any ideas? I’ve tried uninstalling and re installing FDRS, tried running a scan without the mongoose connected. Tried a different version of FDRS. Not having any luck.

It seems to be downloading files to the usb. But when I plug it into the truck it says it’s already been updated.

TCU. It automatically started after the APIM update.

Same message “ the update on this USB is already installed”

Validation failed. Reprogramming in progress. I formatted the USB again and it’s redownloading the data to the USB.

Is there a specific module you think I should do next or just take my pick?

Yes I did, after APIM was verified and the truck started the TCU and then instructed me to insert usb into computer. So I plugged the usb in, formatted it verified it was empty then continued in fdrs. When I started the APIM it said it was a multi module update. Could it have done it already?

Updating TCU and FDRS downloaded data to usb. Put in truck and it says the update is already installed. Should I tell fdrs it updated correctly?

I really want to thank everyone for all their help. I know I’ve posted a ton over the last 2 days and I hope it hasn’t been to annoying, I just want to make sure I don’t mess anything up. I’ve never done this before so it’s a whole new language for me. Genuinely appreciate the help!
