My dealership informed me that Ford is requiring them to take pictures and order parts based on the vehicle's VIN. They said Ford is not allowing the dealership to have an inventory. It could be total BS, but either way, they completed the recall in two days.
I was just saying I would be happy with any updates that get me 1.2 or beyond. All my modules have been updated with FDRS, but I don't have the required FORscan updates. It is disappointing the Ford hasn't enabled the 2021’s. ?
It doesn't occur as frequently on the new APIM version, but it still happens to me. I've learned to hold the power and the forward buttons on the radio to reboot, which fixes it every time.
It looks like that is the center dash speaker. It can also be the subwoofer depending on the number of speakers. If you hold the forward buttons on the steering wheel and radio it will do a speaker test.
I'm really not getting OTA updates and since the BCM isn't something I can install with FRDS it is a bit of a concern. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for looking!
Yours is correct, it shows “software updates” followed by the two Mac addresses under Sync MAC Addresses. Mine doesn't show software updates and the MAC addresses. I had it in the past but it is gone now.
I rebooted those modules with FORScan, but there was no change. The TCU update showed up today in FDRS, so I did apply it. That also didn't fix it, but, I can say that, I'm on all the latest versions of GWM, TCU, and APIM.
I also don't know if this is really a problem.
No, those are for the hot spot and Bluetooth. Take a look at this post, although it only has one MAC address listed. I also have access to 2021 and 2023, where this is correct.

Yes, the wireless connection is enabled and connected, but I only see one connection. In the past, I had two, one called SYNC and the other called Flextronics. The Flextronics is no longer connected to my wireless. I do see SYNC connecting and actively passing data.
Has anyone seen where the SYNC MAC addresses for wireless are missing from the About Sync menu? What was the fix? I did a factory reset, and that didn't change anything. I noticed this after upgrading to the latest Sync version, but it could have been like this before. Wireless is enabled.
I have a 2021 Powerboost and would like to enable the driver and passenger temp settings at the top of the Sync screen, currently, only on the knobs themselves. My friend has 2023, and this information is only at the top of the Sync screen. I can’t find the FORSan settings, so what am I missing?
If you press and hold the forward buttons on the steering wheel and on the radio at the same time, it will do a speaker test. That puts it in diag mode on the screen
