Yes. You can try the dealer first.. I never say never.. but if they cant I would prepare yourself for that route

just for clarification …. Was the module updates needed based off the vin that fox146 posted…. Or the vin I listed when I started this post back in February? Thanks…. This old guy gets confused easily! Lol

It must have been your VIN, because the issue for @Fox146 is different. I spoke to Jesse about his truck already and sent him the fix via PM.

So….. after having a dealer tell me the 21g01 had expired…. And seeing where others were getting it done…. I called ford. The gal I talked to said it wasn’t expired and wanted the dealership name. After a 10 minute hold… she got back on the line and told me she had called the dealership and they told her 2 techs had tried to get it going on my truck but they were not able to do whatever is necessary to make the blue cruise functional. She suggested I try another dealership. I called another local dealership and was told by the service advisor that ford had put a temporary stop on the 21g01 doe to problems that were occurring. Anyone here know anything about this? Thanks..

I picked my truck up from the dealership yesterday and was told the 21G01 was completed but when I got on the interstate is wasn’t working…. Now it tells me to watch the road. Any help?

They lied. They didn't do a damn thing remotely close to what the 21G01 campaign requires. 21G01 is on hold from Ford at the moment. I don't know why they couldn't just tell you the truth, but whatever.

Your truck is very behind on updates. If you want Bluecruise any time soon, you will need to take the Mongoose/FDRS route. You have several modules that need to be updated before your truck has the proper software required for BC to work. I don't think your IPC displays the decimal point in your mileage from how far behind things look on the surface.
