Ford tech support said new version should stop log in problem.. I have not had a issue with latest version.. still waiting to here back on why the history is not working.. I used to think Cummins software had issues but Ford wins hands down on the most problems with programming..

Vehicle history could be server side change. Does the older FDRS version still show history?

Just realized I have the broken version on my laptop. Updated it thinking no harm in it before all the posts on here. D'oh.

I'm not rushing to update my truck so I'll wait for FDRS version 40 to fix whatever else they break.

One thing I did have issues with was the file structure awhile back. I had to delete all FDRS files and since then I have had zero issues with any of the recent updates. Maybe fully deleting the FDRS files then updating will resolve the issue y’all are having?

I did them all and had no issues on my 2021 XLT 302a 5.0L.
The ABS module doesn't clear off the list though after install. This has happened before in the past with other modules and eventually gets cleared out.

FDRS version 38/37 can't login through non-dealer type is not compatible with Win11, it will prompt "User authentication has failed, Unable to achieve server authorization."

still not fix

I really find it odd they would break support for an OS. I hope they are not trying to keep non-dealer accounts out of FDRS.

Been using windows 11 without issues. I would uninstall FDRS and check to see if there are still some files that did not get removed. Delete them then reinstall.

I'm back to working with fdrs. So much forgotten.
After fixing a abs issue I looked around and found quite a few updates available.
One of them was apim. That requires a USB . I had forgotten about that. I started the update. About 50 min it asked for a USB. I could have sworn that it wanted to read some pre loaded files.
It was late. I don't remember if there was any instructions to load a formated blank drive.
It looked like fdrs was expecting a pre flshed drive. Maybe I miss understood.
Starred reading this long ass thread and learned that fdrs promps us to insert a blank drive.
How far into the update process does this typically happen?

Also if I remember there was a application that I used to look at the software condition that didn't require a fdrs login. Was that ips?
My truck just received a update the last week Ota.
Why is there so many modules needing updated?
One relates to the driver blucruse camera. That update was incredibly long. It failed because I let my truck battery sag.
I will attempt these updates again today with a tender on it.

To get a recap should I insert a formated fat32 thumb drive into the truck or laptop? At the start of the update?
What was the final conclusion of the door open/close waiting end up updates procedure?

USB drive formatted to exFAT in the laptop when it asks for it, then put it in the truck in the USB slot under the touchscreen. I always leave the door open when it asks to leave the door open. Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but I always follow the directions exactly.

So the new version is worse than the previous one?
If I am on 37.4.7, do I need to update to the 38 version or should I just stay on what I have? Is their something I am missing or better performance with a newer version?
Thanks!
