ECU module programming guide using FDRS

USB drive formatted to exFAT in the laptop when it asks for it, then put it in the truck in the USB slot under the touchscreen. I always leave the door open when it asks to leave the door open. Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but I always follow the directions exactly.

Woops wait. Put it in the laptop for file loading. Then will fdrs instruct me to insert it into the truck?

Yes, it'll tell you when to put it in the truck.

Been using windows 11 without issues. I would uninstall FDRS and check to see if there are still some files that did not get removed. Delete them then reinstall.

i have been running 11 on 2 laptops with no issue right now.

Just had a new APIM/Sync version show up. Installed it successfully - now at 23291 Revision 1049. No obvious changes.

Just had a new APIM/Sync version show up. Installed it successfully - now at 23291 Revision 1049. No obvious changes.

Really? Interesting. So they pulled the APIM update that was giving people Sync 23237 from FDRS and OTA roll-outs, and now we have a new one pop up with a higher Sync version?

So @HammaMan reported on this thread a new APIM update in FDRS on 10/17 that gave him Sync 23237. Shortly after, the update disappears from FDRS. Now, this pops up with Sync 23291.

Guess what the 291st day of 2023 is? October 18th.

Coincidence? I think not.
