Yes. I have a factory heated steering wheel and this morning it didn’t feel nearly as hot. There’s no way it was at 95 degrees that’s for sure. The hottest is only 5 degrees more.

EDIT: I’m pretty sure it was just my mind playing tricks. It’s in the 70s here and was only kinda cold this morning like 63. It probably wasn’t as noticeable as quick and with this on my mind made me over think. I just ran it outside and it seemed to be fine. I definitely like having the digital temperature knobs though. Makes it feel a bit higher class.
Did you change any bits in your HVAC as builts when you swapped it over? Better yet, did you verify it was all the same

I swapped over all the as builts as when I first connected it the digital temps showed but certain buttons didn’t work like pressing the AC button.

When you first install the module the buttons will not work. You need to reprogram your old settings in FORSCan to have everything functional.

63 is not cold :)

The steering wheel temp settings are in the SCCM, the HVAC module is just the switch to turn it on.

Thats a pretty brisk FL morning. I did check on my drive today which was about an hour. The steering wheel warms up but seems to just get slightly warm then nothing. Im not positive but I feel thats how it operated before. I checked the forscan sheet and its set to continuous on. Wouldnt that mean it maintains the set temperature?

In my experience that is just how heated steering wheels are on all Fords. They don’t seem to stay hot continuously.

So for everyone with '22s, did you get a message from Ford Parts that this doesn't fit your vehicle?

When I'm logged out, it says it fits my 2022 F-150. But when I log in, it says it doesn't fit. Maybe b/c I have a Limited – any reason it wouldn't work with my trim?

Do you have adaptive steering by any chance?

Do you mean BlueCruise? If so, yes.
My apologies, I mixed up this thread with the heated steering wheel thread. For the HVAC assembly with the temp readouts, I believe they will only show as compatible with the '21 models. However, many have added them to 22's and 23's, along with the necessary Forscan changes, without a problem.

BTW, what's the total amount of time it took folks to swap units, and then to program the unit?

I'm going to ask my local shop to do it, and bill me hourly.

Ordered mine from fairway ford on Saturday and had it Wednesday. The trim bits are a bit of a pain to remove but not terrible.

Don't be like me and panic because your heated/cooled seats and steering wheel don't work while not realizing the truck has to be running for those to turn on...

Awesome thread guys. For us Canuck’s, do the digital readout knobs read in degrees C?
Temp adjustments on the sync screen do, so I reckon they would on the knobs given the AB data. Anyone from up here able to confirm?
Thanks!
