  1. Adding factory rear heated seats to 22 lariat

I think it took me 9 hours from start to finish (getting off my ass to finishing clean up). I had never taken apart a seat before either, but it wasn't terrible. The hardest part was removing and reattaching those clips that hold the seat leather to the seat cushion. But it still wasn't that bad...

  3. Adding Powered Tilt/Telescope steering wheel

It will pair just fine after you make the appropriate changes in FORScan Yes, you will either need an adapter harness or rewire your existing harness to make the LED-P headlamps work properly. You will not get the auto height adjustment with out the ride height sensors though
  4. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

Apparently they’re very easy to break into. They slipped it into neutral and towed it away without even starting it
  5. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

It's good, I got rid of my F-150 back in December and got an Edge ST. I got laid off from one job and picked up another. I am glad I got rid of it though, I did a short job in Mesquite, TX in Jan-Feb and one of my guys had his 2022 F450 KR stolen from the hotel. If I had my Platinum, it most...
  6. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

I don't block anyone, regardless of how much I may disagree with or dislike them. To be clear, I do like HammaMan. He's just very direct, and a lot of people take that as mean or rude
  7. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

Lol, thanks for writing the article. The world would be A LOT different if everyone's work was publicly available for criticism.
  8. Reliability study shows EcoBoost 3.5L V6 on top

My 2023 work truck with the 2.7 overheated and had to have the heads replaced. happened at about 62k miles. I have no clue what happened. I wasn't dogging it or towing when it happened, it just did.

  12. Kentucky Sold: 21-23 F-150 dual exhaust components for sale

I recently sold my 22 F-150 platinum and had several parts that I purchased new but never installed them. I purchased (what I understood to be) all of the components required to change my single rear exhaust to factory dual rear exhaust, except the dual outlet muffler. I would like to sell all...
  13. Are these OEM headlights?

Even if you tried to just "plug and play" it wouldn't work. There is still some wiring you have to do to get the turn signals to work, and you have to re-wire the harness as well. Once you get the turn signals working with minimal wiring, you still will only have low beams. The HCM is required...
  14. Heated Steering Wheel Retrofit - updated with information

What I see happen wayyyyyyyyy too often on here is that people will load an old profile when making forscan changes instead of searching for all the modules again.
  15. Swapping headlights from reflector to projector LED headlights?

There’s a few threads on here that have all of the necessary forscan changes to ensure the projector headlamps function correctly. Verify your values based on those tables. If they don’t match, you can investigate why
  16. Swapping headlights from reflector to projector LED headlights?

Dealers don’t have access to forscan, or at least from what I understand they don’t. If I were you, I’d learn how to dive into forscan. It’s pretty easy and free (minus the cable to connect to the truck)
  17. Swapping headlights from reflector to projector LED headlights?

Did you also program the HCM properly? It’s highly unlikely you’d be able to drop it in and it would have the correct as builts
  18. Adding a third running board support

Everything flexes/deflects when a force is applied. Sometimes it is detectable and sometimes it is not. Unless you're getting permanent deformation, I wouldn't bother with adding another support.
