So I'm curious: what was Ford's stated commitment to providing updates beyond 3/36 for 21-22 owners? I've got a '25 on order and it has never occured to me until now that like Microsoft, end-of-support might really mean end of support.

I don't believe there was any stated commitment as you put it. When I bought my truck in 2021, these OTA"s were brand new and probably no one gave it any thought that they wouldn't continue. Rugedraw told me that there are quite a few updates in the pipeline for my truck, Ford just isn't pushing them out to me.

I’m curious about the root causes behind delayed OTA updates. Is it due to pipeline limitations that restrict how many updates can be delivered at once? Or could it stem from a deeper issue within Ford’s software delivery platform—perhaps a flaw that has proven difficult to resolve? The delays seem inexplicable.

I just got the latest sync the other day. This newer truck is much better at receiving them than any of the previous ones.

I was programming a console shifter for a friend Monday and used FDDRs to see if I had updates pending, few modules showed up but didn’t have the time to update them. Maybe I can use your help with my IPC, I’ll send you a PM

Received OTA 25.2.1.6.5 APIM today.
Just did FDRS beginning of June.
Sync 4 now at Version 25094 Revision 1179 from Version 24127 Revision 1270 when I did FDRS.
Does not appear to have affected any mods that I have done.

Right? Seven months of no updates (2 years before that until I did FDRS) and now all of a sudden every few days.
Same here, received OTA 25.2.1.6.5 over night. My truck is set for 1 am every day. Will I see any changes, or is this another "better experience and smoother suture updates" kind'a thing?
