When my truck updated to sync 25094 the recall went away.

Is this a new 6.8.0, or is it the old 6.8.0 from December 2023?

I hope they would accept registration rather than title, since many trucks have their titles held by the lienholder.

Same here. I won't be driving it out of town for a few days, so time will tell how it behaves.

My 21 is on the latest sync version and APIM update sync 25094. There's a thread out there with information that some 2021s that are on sync versions from 2022 and older currently won't get new updates until Ford releases them to those trucks.

My truck updated via OTA to sync 25059 last Thursday.

My most recent update was ECG-24.2.5.6.1 way back in September. I just got SYNC-25.2.1.6.5 this afternoon. I never saw any of the other updates in between those two. In fact, I was still seeing phantom messages for the ECG update almost weekly.

No, the most recent updates on the sheet are from June 2025. There's a slew of ones from April of this year as well.

Others have speculated that Ford is pushing updates to catch trucks up ahead of the camera software fix that is supposed to come out this fall.

I got the 6.X.0 updates in rapid succession. Then ECG-24.2.5.6.1 was my last update back in September.

ACM not coming off and the BCM requiring a password are both well known concerns. There's nothing we can do about either one.

I have a 21 XLT and am in the same boat as you are. ECG-24.2.5.6.1 installed in September. I get a phantom update for it whenever I go to Walmart.
