I just replaced my OEM with an Advnaced Auto Parts DieHard H7. 48 months free replacement 0 prorated. Didn't charge it, drove 3 miles to where we stayed and the next morning drove 470 miles home.
Local shop, the "Service" side of Express Oil Change, has two methods of transmission fluid service for the F-150:
First one - they do not vacuum the fluid from the dipstick filler but rather "flushing" through the transmission cooling heat exchanger (?), which I am not a big fan of.
Second -...
My transmission shifts fine (knock on wood), but I do have a slight vibration at specific RPM and apparently it is possible that the source is the transmission and a fresh fluid apparently fixes it. See here.

So...
Means, you have tools? You bet.
Means in terms of knowledge and capability? Probably.
Are you asking about motivation to crawl under the truck and mess with the fluid dripping all over me and my garage floor and then refill with running super hot cat next to it? Absolutely not :ROFLMAO:
40K...
Dealer 1: $650 before tax, dropping pan, replacing filter. They don't do it any other way.
Dealer 2: Around $600 before tax, dropping pan, replacing filter. They don't do it any other way.
Dealer 3: $289.99 before tax, they vacuum and replace fluid, no dropping pan or replacing filter. That's...

I like this guy, I watch all his videos and I start believing that this has something to do with it. My truck has nearly 40K miles. There is zero vibration in the steering...
21' 5.0 - almost zero gain in mpg when in ECO, and I am talking about 400-500 mile trips. ECO feels more sluggish in terms of engine/power response. The good thing about ECO and the reason I often use it on long drives is the significantly smoother down/up shift.
I am familiar with FORscan and I made some changes, including transmission temp. numbers. We already have oil pressure gauge (although just a dial, not numbers). I didn't know you can add charge/voltage. Where will it display? I though you can only have 4 gauges at the top.
Put new battery. Truck would not start 500 miles from home visiting my daughter for Thanksgiving. I jinxed myself https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/h6-to-h8-battery-and-battery-cable-fitment.43677/post-732583
My CC is set to Normal. Occasionally, when a vehicle pulls in front of me and it is kind'a close to me, the truck will brake suddenly as if it was Adaptive Cruise control, to keep the set distance. It then immediately returns to normal and accelerate to go back to the set speed that was lost...
Haven't done yet, but my finger is hovering above the 'Purchase' button for a set of 4 Cooper Discoverer Road+ Trail AT at Sam's Club. On one hand, at $244 per tire, it is too good of a deal to pass on. On the other, there is still some meat on my OEM Hankook Dynapro at 39K miles (around 4/32)...
Go to them, don't let them come to you (scrap the "convenience). I had one done before in my Massachusetts driveway in the winter. Huge mistake.
Can't help you with identifying the Ford OEM, no clue.
Definitely not that. It does not sound anything like the two videos in the other thread and it is clear enough to be coming from inside the truck, nothing to do with the brake boost. It is a single tick, not even a click like a relay click or something like that. Sharp, short ticket. I will try...
Thanks, but it doesn't. There are no tracking devices and it is not even close to any of the sounds in the attached videos. It is a single, sharp, tick.
