Take a look at your navigation screen, the ford one, not carplay. See if it says "no gps". If it does, until you figure out how to make that go away and the navigation to work again, fordpass won't work.
Probably going to have to take mine to the dealer, as I have had the no gps issue for over a week now. What a pain. Maybe posting here will fix it again! LOL
So I must have done something wrong, as I priced my build for my 2024 and a 3 year lease with 15k per, and $8000 due at signing was $932 a month?
Only a $363 per month price increase and $7000 more due at signing...
Not sure if its related, but my fordpass stops working every time my Nav says NO GPS. Doesn't always say NO GPS though. I always imagine its due to a battery issue, low SOC or something, but I don't know. It will work great for months and then stop. Then Start again. Then stop. I usually...
As far as I know, FX4 package doesn't cover the transmission pan. The diaper does. But they removed that. The skid plate in front should still be there. I added both pieces back to mine, though my engine cover says "powerboost" lol
I don't think I'd want a lithium in my truck. Wrong type of accident or incident with a lith ion battery and you could lose the truck, garage, whatever. Even the small ones I use in my rc cars make me nervous.
Reminds me of my 2007 Tahoe. Whoever designed that was the worst. The bracket that holds the shift linkage is mounted to the "top" of the transmission, with a smaller torx bit (iirc) and in a blind area where only a 2 year olds hands might fit. even if you manage to get a wrench on it, there...
Exactly. We have had a travel trailer since about 2013-2014? (can't remember) so have had all sorts of experience, some good some bad (nothing real bad), so I know what to expect. The easiest way I have found to know if the hitch isn't just right is to have my wife in the seat next to me. If...
I've done it all 3 ways. Once I cut holes in the liner, and fed tubes through there. Once I ran them through those covers. The last time before I gave up my mx4 for a roll up cover, I didn't install the tubes at all.
To be honest, I didn't find much difference. Water somehow always sneaked...
I tow a 6500ish pound trailer and have never turned it off. Then again I have never experienced it activating, or at least I wouldn't know. I've always felt it doesn't activate unless in the extreme sway conditions. What I have learned is to just nudge over as far I can while passing big...
The bedrug classic looks cool but I fell like my tool boxes and stuff will still slide on it. And If I can't solve the water issue, it will get wet which isn't ideal.
I have the oem bed liner. Been debating on removing it and going to just a mat, but wondering if there is one that would sit on top of the bed liner and fit nicely?
Additionally I get a little water that comes in under my tonneau cover, I think its because the seal that rides along the top of...
