Sounds like the typical car dealer to me. Hard to find one with integrity.

They absolutely knew they sanded and buffed the truck before they sent it, figured once they get payment and documents signed it’s out of their hands and a ford warranty issue

Last truck I purchased I almost felt bad being a dick up front. But it’s such a sleazy business I wanted to set the expectations from the start.

You state this like its fact.

The OP bought the truck and had it delivered after signing all the paper work. I'm sure that if you brought it back to Granger they would make it right. Trying to do something like this remote, thru two separate businesses is not an easy thing.

There can always be more communication, and for that Zach has failed, especially as an owner. Say exactly what you will do then follow thru.

Some could say your biased, because you had a positive experience with Geanger on your purchase. You even talk as you are friends with them and “Granger would make it right” and “Zach has failed”.

I am basing my opinion on the current facts, and lack of grangers involvements on this issue.

I guarantee if you got a brand new truck and it had so many issues you’d be pissed too…

This just shows that it’s a gamble buying and shipping vehicles. I hope from this point forward anyone who buys one and has it shipped asks for 360 pictures inside and out.

It's more than that: They failed to find and disclose ALL these issues- some fairly obvious, in their PPI- which THEY request 10-14 days to complete. Had that occurred- this truck never would have made it to the flatbed to be shipped.

Granger screwed up- plain and simple- but Granger should absolutely be the one in the bind here- not the OP. They obviously have a multitude more resources (and leverage) with Ford to get this fixed. The fact that they can't even step up to the plate- even now- is a free look at how you might be treated if your purchase with them goes sideways.

Granger's reputation would be solid if it weren't for their collosal Fk up here.

There's zero chance I'll do business with them and suggest anyone who can't drive there without much effort to seriously consider the same. There's ZERO excuses for this situation as it's unfolded and it takes a massive set of balls to come to this man's threads with the story exactly as it's unfolded and claim anything to the contrary.

If the management at granger had even a fraction of the balls it takes to come here and attempt to shill for them, this thread wouldn't exist.

The truck is painted, but there’s a trim piece that’s been on national back order that they’re waiting for.
Good news and bad news. So sorry you are still dealing with this.

I picked it up today and found a few small things that I need to talk to them about. There’s a run in the clearcoat below a door handle, a spot on the rear driver door that needs some attention, and some door weatherstripping missing retainers.

I just read most of this thread and WOW!

That truck should have never left the plant and it never should have left Granger either.

So sorry you're having to go through this.

Granger Ford needs to step up. Zach is here daily posting about their great warranties, but seems to be leaving you in the dark.
Dealerships that sell way under MSRP are usually best to avoid since each customer is just another sale and nothing more to them. They are pushing maximum volume for profit and you mean nothing to them after the sale.

I got my truck from Grainger about 2 weeks ago.

That was not my experience.

They picked me up at the airport at 9 am, drove to the dealership. Went all over the outside and inside. Pointed out a spec of red that was in the clearcoat on my spacewhite. Offered to fix it if I could leave it, but chose to drive home. They documented everything in a file for me warranty at home. Have not done that yet.

Went thru the features of the truck and did not rush at all. I was overall happy with the experience. Not thrilled with having to deal with a warranty paint item, but it is nothing like the OP.

They stated in another post that they revamped their inspection process after my issues occurred .
