Hey Guys,

Thanks to @rugedraw I now know what updates my 22 Tremor needs. I have my Mongoose coming tomorrow and have already read a few threads on getting started. One thing I have been seeing is how some updates should be done before others. Which updates should I complete first?

Thanks

GWM, APIM TCU and IPC in that order as they appear. Doing one will release another one of these. The rest do not matter in terms of the order.

Ok sweet. So since I don't have the GWM or APIM, I would just start at TCU, then IPC. The rest can just be at random? Also I am assuming each update gets downloaded and installed on its own, is there any kind of download all button or just do each individually?

Thanks

I was thinking the same thing. Thanks for asking.

I’ll add a related question to this. What’s some of the longer updates that take time to run? I’d assume apim an pcm are the longer ones?

IPMA takes 3 hours and is tied to the PSCM, so don't start either one of these unless you have the 3 hours to see them through. CMR (if you have one) takes 45-60 minutes.

Some IPC updates will not go through with the USB method and have to be pushed manually with the cable. If this happens (usually with the older IPC updates on vehicles that are very behind), this will take 6 hours.

APIM updates are done with the USB, and downloading the files can sometimes take a long time.

Is there any way to see what current IPC version you are on? I am just wondering if my current version will be one that can be done via the USB. That will let me know if I need an extra 6 hours. ?
