FYI, I've reached out to Roz Ho, who leads Ford's connected vehicle platforms, and strongly suggested that her team monitor these forums for real-world feedback on OTA and module software issues.

This forum, the Lightning and Mach E forums have Ford engineers here seeing everything. In the other forums, they are more vocal than here. They never say they are Ford engineers, but those that know......know.

Lol I've grown a little sympathetic to their cause after learning more about what it takes to get these updates rolled out. Ford's OTA fluffer department should be paying me, though.

I ran into this same issue installing the chained APIM and TCU update. TCU update says it was already installed and FDRS failed saying the modules are not the correct version. @Jesse-Infotainment I sent you a message with my info. Thanks!

If anyone has this issue it is due to an error on fords end. There is nothing you can do to fix it. I will have to get involved to help you get through it. Ford is calling for all the files for the APIM and not the TCU. They literally have no files for the TCU on the server. So the reason you get update already installed is it is calling for the APIM update when the TCU is selected it doesnt matter if you try to do TCU first last its jsut an error on fords server and the way they have the update structured

I have figured out how to work around it but it takes things Only I can do at this point. I dont know what Ford has going on but 3 years in and they still cant get it right.

TThis is the update after 21146. It will be a APIM and TCU.
