Post a screenshot of the sw updates tab. I won't be in my laptop until a bit later to check myself.

That's exactly how it works. APIM will release a GWM or TCU, and that will release another and so on until no more pop up. Ignore the ACM and PSCM.back at the dealer now running more updates. Looks like it will let me re-run an APIM update and hopefully that will unlock more modules. The only other options are for audio control module and power steering module
But the PSCM is the good stuff. That's what fixes the ping-pong in LCA and BCThat's exactly how it works. APIM will release a GWM or TCU, and that will release another and so on until no more pop up. Ignore the ACM and PSCM.
Agreed, but the PSCM is already updated as is the ACM. It just doesn't off of the list for some reason. But the PSCM is the good stuff. That's what fixes the ping-pong in LCA and BC
I know it's not critical to the flow, but don't forget to install before done.
If the IPC update fails the USB method, FDRS will ask you if you want to CAN it in. The CAN method will work for sure, but it will take 6 hours to update. If the IPC fails via USB several times, then CAN will be the only way to update it. Just FYI so you don't start something you may not have the time to finish. Will do! APIM update just finished and unlocked another GWM and IPC update. Will continue to push through these 1 at a time until I’m fully updated. Revision number is also 473 instead of 415 so we’re slowly but surely getting there.
I think there were a total of 3 IPC updates for job 1 2021 trucks. The first two, I had to do with CAN.....6 hours each. Thankfully the third one went via USB and was actually pretty quick.I understand thanks for letting me know. When I first started diving into this update nightmare, we did successfully update the IPC through usb and that took maybe 2-3 hours or something. Is there another update I will need to do for that module or should that be good now?
Still can't believe they're using 1Mb can bus as the standard this far down the line. They really need to hop on the GBE ring topology or at least 100Mb. A single twisted pair of wires can support gigabit ethernet under the 1000BASE-T1 standard which the sync hardware supports just needs spread to more modules. 100Mb automotive ethernet transceivers are ~$1 at ford's usage level and should be on all major components while deleting the GWM entirely with the PCM handling can bus to ethernet traffic. The wiring savings alone more than makes up the price delta.I think there were a total of 3 IPC updates for job 1 2021 trucks. The first two, I had to do with CAN.....6 hours each. No, BC prep kit is only for job 1 2021 trucks that shipped from Ford with BC hardware but missing the software. What is the bluecruse prep kit? My apim is updated. Will I need to do the prep kit? I don't really need BC 1.4 now that I use the comma autopilot but I want it when

I've seen the harnesses, they'll just break them. Fiber minimum bend radius isn't optionalFiber is cheaper![]()
