No, we never made the changes to the ABS. It was never an issue to before the new IPMA update was released and even then, it seems to be only an issue with PowerBoost trucks.

What I am going to do to avoid problems and confusion is change the info I give people to enable BC 1.whatever to NOT include the IPMA change needed to enable hitch assist and if someone wants to enable that, they can do that on their own separately.

Might need some help with this one. Can’t get BC to work after the IPMA update . i changed the IPMA value i had modified from hitch assist but it didn’t help. No DTCs

I feel like I’m missing something really stupid on this one. I cleared the IPMA learned values. I ran a PMI on the IPMA. I recalibrated all of the options except for the trailer one for the IPMA. all of my driver assistance menu items look good and I can toggle each of them on and off still no DTC‘s. What else am I missing?

same here so far. anyone have any luck forcing this? would love to get the new APIM before my license expires. would also be nice to get The GVMS on my ACM squared away if anyone has a suggestion for that other than waiting.

I do recommend a license to run what you can and have Ford complete the BCM modification (TSB) that requires a technician.

Then move on to easier ponderings than the how the heck the Ford release process works? I.e. is a CAI worth the cost? or would a larger intercooler help with efficiency enough to warrant its cost? Will the war in Ukraine suck us all in. Okay, these are my wonderings...don't reply to them here since there are other places to debate them and others.

I have fully updated using FDRS, works really great! The Predictive speed assist doesn't seem right though, when on it slows down at curves etc as well as recognizes speed limit signs and slows -speeds accordingly. When I turn it off the speed limit recognition turns off but the slowing down at the curves (predictive speed assist) is still on. Seems as though the toggle is for the speed limit recognition not the PSA? Where did I go wrong?

That's how it works. If you want it truly off, you need to completely disable it with FORScan.

That's awesome! I hate that it slows down in curves.

Now how do you turn off Auto Lane Centering? With this latest round of updates Lane Centering automatically enables even with normal cruise control. I do have all the features turned off on the screen / radio but it's still annoying.

That I am not sure if it can be done. I think that's just how they coded it now.

Javier, does that setting do anything beyond just disabling the auto slow-down?

I ask because I've never enabled speed sign autonomy because of the obvious unintended consequences. But the truck and Mach-E both like to save me from myself in the upcoming curves. I'd love to nix just that feature.

Yea, that's the culprit. I'm hoping that with the new BBC IPMA software, they improved that, but I just don't get on the highway much to be able to test it. I turned it back on when I installed BBC, but I need more road-testing.

If I want to auto slowdown in curves what would the setting be? That is, I have enabled as follows but it never seemed to slow down in curves and indeed 706-02-02 is xxxx-xxxx-00--.

What value is at 706-02-02 xxxx-xxxx-**--, or rather what do you have for the ** for a working PSA that slows in the curves?
