Looks like you have only been a member of this forum for about a month. Spend another few days or weeks poking around on here and you’ll learn very quickly to not waste your time at the dealership with this sort of thing.Took my truck to the dealership on 7/27/2023. Told the service advisor SYNC was not updating. Even told her about TSB 22-2404. They kept the truck till 7/31/2023. When I got the truck back it was still on the same SYNC version. (20312 revision 243) Went back in and told the service advisor and she had the tech look at it again. He came back a few minutes later and said it was up to date I said no it was not. She called the shop foreman and he said there was nothing they could because it was up to date. I was very busy last week and waited till today (8/7/2023) to call ford. The customer service line at first said it was up to date. When I asked her when it received the last update, she said 1/10/2021. I told her there have been many updates since then. She gave me the phone number to the OTA team. I called the OTA team, after telling her about the problem and about TSB 22-2404, she told me to take it back to the dealership and have them call the Techline with the case number.
What a run around.

Sorry for your pain, but posts like this makes the Mongoose purchase seem really cheap compared to all the wasted time and frustration of dealing with the dealership and Ford. Being able to update your own truck and keep it up to date is priceless.Took my truck to the dealership on 7/27/2023. Told the service advisor SYNC was not updating. Even told her about TSB 22-2404. What are you using to update your Module? Let me guess, VCX Nano? Can anyone tell me if you have to update other certain modules before you can update the CMR module? My CMR module update keeps failing but I do have some other updates available via FDRS.

Hmm, so say someone missed this. Anyway to fix it without FDRS? Module reset in forscan did not work. I think it's related, but I couldn't get global windows to work either (up or down).NOTICE: If you updated the DDM/PDM modules, you need to run the 'Power Door Window Initialization' for both modules. This can be found in each of the module task window (on the right hand side). This is needed for your windows auto open/close to work
Yeah, most of us have been down that road...Good luck. You should just get on the list here and update your truck yourself. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...mming-vehicle-interface-lending-thread.13145/) Went back in and told the service advisor and she had the tech look at it again. I agree, but getting the truck out of the broken software requires plugging directly into modules and it not as simple as just hitting the update button on FDRS. This is why most dealers will just throw a new APIM at it as opposed to going through the process 22-2404 calls for. The TSB is attached.Sorry for your pain, but posts like this makes the Mongoose purchase seem really cheap compared to all the wasted time and frustration of dealing with the dealership and Ford. I believe I saw the window initialization in Forscan.Hmm, so say someone missed this. Anyway to fix it without FDRS? Module reset in forscan did not work. I think it's related, but I couldn't get global windows to work either (up or down).
Edit. Got it to work. Apparently on 21+ truck's you have to hold the window buttons UP for exactly two second. So I held them up for two seconds, two seconds off, for three of four times, then did the down, hold for two, up, hold for two, down, hold for two, up, hold for two, for a few times and everything works now.
