I have a Mongosse. And I tried several times to apply TSB 22-2404 It would keep failing. I tried too many times and now the apim is locked. I need the dealer to unlock or install a new APIM. I am a ex FORD Senior Master Tech, so I know what I am doing. I just don't want to have to buy an APIM.
If you locked out the APIM and then went to dealer I don't think they could do anything about it.
Good luck and I hope the OTA team can get you a new APIM at the dealer.

How do I recover a failed programming shown as a purple module in FDRS? Can I reset it back to where it was or how do I clear it up for now?
Did you run a module update with a Nano? If so the Nano will never make the module not purple. You'll need a Mongoose for that

I had not had any updates since May, found that somehow updates were turned off, I updated with my mongoose yesterday, the 2 1/2 hour APIM also the PCM, TCU, as well as a few others, all went well, all od them showed passed.

I have a question on a couple of things in the picture below, I think the DTC on the Driver Front Seat Module has been there since last year, it was a known problem that wouldn't clear if i remember correctly.

second is the Power Steering Control Module showed grey yesterday "not responding," and now shows orange DTC how do I clear it??

I haven't used my mongoose since last year and don't remember if I just run PMI, aren't there a couple of questions to answer while running the PMI like"is this module original" or something like that?

No PMI needed to clear and orange module. Just clear the codes and do a self test on it.

Be sure you have key/button on when doing the network scan/test. Made that mistake first time and not everything is awake with ignition off.

Usually clear and retest everything should show green after that.

Thank you!!! I remembered once I started, PSCM DTC cleared but the Driver Front Seat module did not.
I saw that the seat module logged a U2100 code so I ran a PMI and it cleared as well

Thank you for the help

So we just got an addition to the family besides my 2021 F150 Rocky Ridge. My wife got a 2023 Mach-E GT Performance Edition. While I was eager to get the Mach-E all up to date with FDRS. I notice a really cool peg post they use for negative grounding and jumping.

I bought a pack and put one on my F150 and now have a great grounding peg for the power supply when doing updates.

Info is below if anyone else is interested.

STOP. Do not install 37.4.3 or the released yesterday 37.4.4 (supposed to be a fix).

Your session logs will end up looking like this:

Recommend continuing to use 36.4.8 until the all clear is sounded.

I thought it forced you to update?

I always prefer to hold off on updating anything until I know new versions are not buggy.

Doesn't look like anything too serious to me just a website scripting issue. If it shows like that in FDRS it probably looks the same in PTS since both load same page.

It does not force you to update.

I guess I'm the reason you know 37.4.3 and 37.4.4 are buggy then.

It's not really serious, I just had to uninstall (twice, once for each jacked-up version) and roll back to 36.4.8.

Good to know. I installed the update I think it was the 36.4.8 earlier this year because I thought I needed to before module updates.
