Yea, that's the software strategy. ACJ was the latest available for the F150's until a day or two ago.

I just checked my 22 and I don' t have a new IMPA software. I did have a TCU update, so I installed that. Ford must be doing a slow rollout.

It seems to only be available for the 2021 trucks so far. #teamjob1

Haven't seen it for any other trucks -- is it just IPMA or does it have other dependencies?

One guy just updated his truck for the first time with FDRS and he went from whatever he was on before (pre-ACJ) directly to the new BBC version. It is showing for my truck and few other fully updated 2021's that I've checked.

BTW updated to the 18.1 iOS RC (public on 28.10) and previous issues with Google Maps on CarPlay (where half the screen would turn black and needed the app to be quit on the phone and opened again - a few posts discuss this issue) are fixed.

The CarPlay experience overall feels better and smoother than before. I am on Sync 24022 (UAE).

I've noticed Android Auto works much better on the Sync 24127 I have now compared the previous one I was on, too.

Making my want to license up and break out the mongoose. Some days I have zero issues, every once in a while it'll disconnect 6+ times on my 20min drive to work. I got the gwm OTA a couple weeks ago. Could be tomorrow, could be 6 months before I get the new apim OTA though...

The SSM from early this year said future APIM update would address Car Play and Android Auto. Maybe this is that, or maybe it hasn't come out yet. ?‍

Unless the update is there for you, no need to do anything. It is not showing available for everyone to install.

According to what you have showing in your APIM config here:

Your bed camera is disabled based on what the FORScan spreadsheet shows here:

I would start by changing that E to an F to enable IODBC and see if that fixes it. If not, you can always change it back and we can dig a bit deeper.

@rugedraw, thank you for the advice and for giving me a reason to learn FORscan. The change worked perfectly and I now again have a bed camera card that works at speed. I also made some additional changes that enable other camera modes while driving. I have officially caught the bug and have another handful of changes I’ll be making this weekend.

Sounds about right. My truck rarely gets OTA updates even though they are available.

Your truck was at dealer so long Ford OTA forgot it exists.
