I never did want it other than to be like those people on Buick commercials showing it off once to anyone riding with me. ?‍♂

I got the itch to do some updating today while I did my first service plus got my heated steering added back in. Had a ACM, DSP, and APIM update all waiting for me and I just got 6.2.0 a few days ago also. Did the ACM & DSP first and all went well, but about immediately regretted doing them that as right after I started hearing the speaker pop noise when opening a door or after the truck fully shuts down. This was before I got the APIM update done, so fingers crossed, doing that had a fix in there for that as well as I didn't near it again after I got that done. Once I got those all done a TCU update showed up as well so got that knocked out.

Got the APIM update done and it was a usual 5GB update, so took some time to download and copy over, but all went well there. I did notice a few small differences on the screen after it was all said and done and this was the update that was slated to have a few changes sounds like. I already had unreal enabled so not sure if this update enables that for everyone or not, but I maybe have a hunch it does.

The biggest thing I noticed right away was different font on the exterior temp readout, man they are getting crazy with these updates... ? ? Hopefully now when you're in temps that are triple digits plus, part of the font graphics don't get shaded out (first world probs).
Other wise maybe just small things here and there, some button maybe look different, and looks like they are starting to integrate some of the icons in the climate bar/home style theme in this theme based off what I saw. Then last but not least they added the Record Feedback options in Features, man I'd hate to be the person that has to listen/read through those as they come in lol.

Funny thing is the voice feedback was listed as being added to trucks over a year ago. I guess someone realized they forgot to actually add it? ?‍♂

So far 23 trucks like yours are getting all the updates. Still waiting for us old 21 trucks to get the APIM and TCU updates.

After numerous updates your still a few versions ahead of what is shown for my 21 guess I'll have to fire up theole PC again and see what's shown, I got to the point where it was just APIM and GWM module updates over and over back and fourth with each one being 10-12Mb and called it a night

That version at the moment is only available to 2023 trucks.
The rest of us should see some updates hopefully to same version before the end of year. Maybe sooner with as quick as Ford is rapidly updating trucks this month.

23167 should be what you have on a 2021, that's what I have from 4.3.6.
It says it does something with camera views but it also by coincidence fixed my camera audio pop issue.

I'm hopeful thats solved for me in 980 as well, the audio lag whenever you had a popup screen come up, plus sometimes a bluetooth call wouldn't be working correctly either.

That's new. Sounds like 6.4.0 is on the horizon.
Well I'm not sure about 6.4.0 but this is the first time I have ever gotten an OTA alert for 6.1.0, I was definitely caught off guard when I got an alert notification ?

Just no more IPC updates please. ?
Eh... my 23 had an IPC update a few weeks ago and my dealer got that knocked out along with a PCM update. Luckily it looks like it didn't take them long at all so USB method must have worked just fine.

Yeah, that is impossible with my truck.
I know it's probably coming and it's the reason my truck was so far outdated on OTA when I bought it.
I'll have to give Ford another $50 donation to do my 5 hour update when the time comes.
