I believe this is 6.2

In the MME we got subtle differences in icon shadowing which includes the top bar. Hard to see it in the first pic which is previous (sun setting causing glare)

Not sure what's up with blue colors, saved / reloaded APIM data

Right now ford is favoring 2022 vehicles with updates, the 2022 MME has gotten 6.3 already (TCU) and 6.4 (SCCM)

My 21 has 6.2 and 6.4 via FDRS, no TCU update yet.

Did one of the updates improve the sound quality and overall volume output using CarPlay? I got my truck back from Ford and the radio sounds way better and is much louder at lower volumes than before. They said the DSP update was applied but I doubt they actually did it.

yes, I noticed the same immediately after the dsp update that is supposed to fix the loud popping noise. I did post about it a month back when I was updated but can’t remember which thread.

hey peeps...can someone remind me at which point in the process you can disconnect from truck to download everything? plug mongoose and laptop into truck, run the fdrs scan up until ___ point, disconnect, and take laptop inside to download hardwired over LAN? that was a thing, right? was thinking about trying it that way today on the new apim.

Oh, that's new. This means a new APIM OTA is on the horizon. 6.2.0 is for the GWM.

@Mike G has the OTA version for this in his queue now on his Lightning. He is waiting to see if it installs on its own to get the release notes before going the FDRS route. I'll let you guys know what it says when I have more info. It's just a matter of time before someone reports a new OTA.

Edit: The APIM OTA is not in his queue. We're going to have to wait a bit to get more details on OTA version of it. The update is 6.0GB's, so it's a big one.

Anyone seen this when pressing the check for update tab? Looked at the Ford site and it reads "no qualified alerts found."

Failed to mention, I did update via FDRS a couple weekends ago. I am pretty sure I did the GWM update. Current SYNC version is 23159 REV. 915

It looks to me like the OTA failed. 6.1.0 and 6.2.0 are both GWM updates, so maybe you did that one with FDRS. The GWM first popped up in FDRS at the end of September, so if you updated a couple weekends ago, you did 6.1.0 already.

Appreciate that info. It's weird that the Ford site doesn't show anything for OTAs. I'll have to see if it comes back around.

Here are what was on the USB for the update I did with FDRS.

No the owners dashboard. But PTS is indicating that 6.2 failed as you stated. Reason:
Ah ok. Sucks that I was right about that. lol
