GM owners made the mullet famous so they can stand out in crowds. :ROFLMAO:
Hey didn’t Snake have a redneck hippie mullet going back in his early enduro overland pics? ?

The adas stack in v1 of BC isn't trash, but it's better than nothing. It's cheap entertainment for me particularly on state highways through base of the appalachians. I had SC, it was either in a lidar scanned gated zone or nonexistent and couldn't be trash when it was basically nonexistent on a majority of roads.

As for the system itself, it is updated. All 23 model years of some vehicles have 1.2 software, 23 j2s have 1.3 and it's better than SC. Ford has a way to go on all software, but the GM experience is of the same caliber sans ease of owner access to updating components. Look, maybe you'll happily slip into a comfortable denial mode driving your government motors vehicle, but the truth is, same shit, different appearance.

As for EVs, I'm ecstatic at the resources burned to make them. I'm CO2 absolutist and believe mankind should triple their contribution to the trace gas that's required for life on this planet. Countless positives to increasing it, just ask greenhouses about that. Sure a little more lawn mowing is required, but that 40% increase in crop yields will have farmers doing the happy dance. Fact is EVs make sense for most people. For the price of electricity in the mach-e I can do 250 miles or spend the same money on gas and get ~30 or so ICE miles? No plugs, no belts, no trans, no crank, no pistons, not even engine oil. Just super cheap / fast transportation.

Mine doesn't have cobalt so I didn't contribute to some child's earnings in a 3rd world country so that's really moot for me. Fact is most EV opponents are just as dumb as the ones buying it for it's "green" aspects. All things considered, I like the fact I can put sunshine into mileage for a vehicle vs supporting the fux of OPEC. Maybe if we insulated N. America from global oil pricing that'd change, but as of now money in the left pocket is the same as money in the middle east's pocket.

I want LMFP batteries to go mainstream because they're efficient use of resources and last decades if properly used. EVs built using LFPs will be around 2 decades from now with ~80% of the range and all of the performance they have today. Very few moving parts and high-grade liquid cooled inverters.

I have indeed had a few mullet-ish eras in my life.

Currently I'm just a hippie cowboy

Currently, I'm an aging hippie. Will not be long before the long hair will be gonzo.

With a used vehicle sold by a Ford dealer they can usually extend the warranty coverage so no gain with a "certified" vehicle which is really a fraud. I would walk away from this deal and find a more scrupulous dealer, if possible.

Lets see '22 PowerBoost, just passed 13k trouble free miles. RC tonneau, Fox 2.0 Level, Fuel 18x9 +20 Vectors, 285/65R18 Falken AT3W's.... Again, not the first issue. Some people are so quick to judge it as bad because it's new. I'd not hesitate to buy another, even a certified one. My fuel mileage is still hanging around 22mpg with the mods, and the 7.2kw is amazing!

Nope. It has a lot of value for a large percentage of owners. It has no value to the small percentage of owners who bought a hybrid truck with a generator but don't actually have a use for it but bought it anyways for some reason.

With that reasoning one should never buy anything. Nothing will live forever, and there are always outliers, good and bad.

That being said, I’m positive there have been far more issues with previous years 5.0 oil consumption, 3.5 cam phasers, and 2.7 oil pans. Oh, what about the old vaccuum IWE’s… The list could go on and on. Contrary to the saying, one bad egg doesnt spoil the bunch in this case.

All I can say is I LOVE my '21 PB (42k miles). Great power, great fuel economy. I'm towing a new travel trailer now that is not a lightweight and I'm hoping I won't need to move up to a SD. I wish there was a hybrid option for the SDs but I know there's no incentive for that. Did I mention I love my PB... :)
