I don't care how much quicker a PB is, nothing beats the sound of a Coyote V8.

It’s better than cuteIts cute you think your PB is competition for a Super Duty.....
I think you paid too much, the sticker on your package says 29.99$36 per pound.
Too bad that you’re so far away. I would happily munch on one with you. ? We could even plug my Rectec smoker into the PB and have some badass brisket!I bought some Dry Aged bone-in ribeye Delmonico steak for the cabin trip this weekend. $36 per pound. Going to cook it rare and slice up to hand out. Thought you guys might wanna know.
I was putting your PB behind all powerstrokes. I also don't think the 5.0 is a dog. It's not in the middle. It's just a strong half ton, period. It’s better than cute
I get to read fun comparisons like this :
“A 6.7 will make the PowerBoost feel like a dog much more than the PowerBoost will make a 5.0 feel like a dog”
Squarely placed between a 6.7 PowerStroke and the little 5.0 ?
Agreed, different beasts. I saw a VERY nice 6.7 high output F350 today a few spots down today. It made my F150 look like a Ranger.I was putting your PB behind all powerstrokes. I also don't think the 5.0 is a dog. It's not in the middle. It's just a strong half ton, period.
This is why I asked to change from the 5.0 to the 2.7 on my company fleet order. I live at 8,700'I'll throw this into the pile. At high altitude, the 5.0 is worthless. Put a 4-6,000 pound camper behind it, and try to drive up I-70 to the Eisenhower tunnel and you will never again buy a small displacement NA V8. The Powerboost destroys the V8 in every aspect when doing truck things. If you live at or near sea level, and use your truck for getting groceries, picking up the kids from school etc. Im sure its fine.
Now, a Whipple on a 5.0, thats a different story. The Coyote loves boost.
Yes I know that. Besting the PB with a PowerStroke is a far easier task to set than with a 5.0I was putting your PB behind all powerstrokes. I also don't think the 5.0 is a dog. It's not in the middle. It's just a strong half ton, period.
Sure. OK. Enjoy your truck. May all your babies be born naked.Yes I know that. Besting the PB with a PowerStroke is a far easier task to set than with a 5.0
Your choice of weapon makes sense.
So far so good. ?Sure. OK. Enjoy your truck. May all your babies be born naked.

Hey I think we did an admirable job on that horse this time!
Continue enjoying your amazing V8. I love hearing it sing at full throttle!
I vote for 4:20So what time tomorrow?
I did want to mention Ford’s mistake in dropping the NA3.3, which was probably the most reliable option for the F150 after the 6.2 was dropped.I'm going to try to get this thread to 10 pages.
The 3.3L is the best engine Ford has ever made.
It’s all about the gearing and coefficient of friction available. Ballast down an old Hilux and install a double transfer case setup for some serious but slow low gear. Now that there is a reliable workhorse of an engine. Probably beat the PB in a tug of war any day![]()
